Insight into creativity
I really like this book. It is inspiring and provocative. I totally recommend it.In this book, Osho, clearly delineates the inner game of creativity. Osho's approach is that creativity is a spiritual endeavor. He poses the idea that human creativity is a reflection of divine creativity, that creative human beings are the media used by divine creativity to express itself. This view reminded of a story about the former Beatle, Paul McCartney. You know how sometimes we hear a tune and it keeps going around and around in our heads. Well, one fine morning Paul woke up with a nice little tune going around and around in his head. He was sure he had heard it before, but could not locate exactly where he had heard it. So, he asked everyone he knew about this melody and nobody could locate it for him. Finally, he kind of reluctantly accepted that he not heard the tune anywhere... that it was his song, that it came to him in a dream. That sweet little tune turned out to be the famous song: Yesterday. Obviously, Paul, like so many artists, did not know where his creation came from or how it happen. It was just there, in his head. He did nothing special. But Osho, has a theory that could explain how that happens. He makes the connection between relaxation and creativity. No wonder creative ideas come to us when we are asleep.Osho identifies the main obstacles that stop human beings from being creative while identifying those traits that will help us be more creative. If you want to increase your understanding of how creativity works, read this book. If anything, it will inspire you to participate, to be more creative and to live more fully.

Insightful and Universal
This is my seond book in this genre. It's easy to become fascinated by the abstract thinking, but also by the simplicity of the things that oftentimes look so complicated that we feel overwhelmed by them. This book focuses on the systems and pshychology of the human nature that leads to possessing a more creative mind. Nor everyone can become famous, but anyone can be creative. Based on what Osho says, even a wash disher can become creative. Creativity gives you the feelign of being alive. The feeling that your life is worthwhile despite of the other less fortunate aspects of your life.Regardless of your goals and aspirations, I believe this book is helpful in offering a view upon our world and upon the nature of being human. Simple to grasp and easy to follow (english is my seond language), it is a book that I will feel guilty to not re-read a few pages once in a while.

... where an abundance of frustration swirled through your head like an annoying buzzing fly and you for whatever reason ...
ever got to the point where an abundance of frustration swirled through your head like an annoying buzzing fly and you for whatever reason you just can't slap it down and get rid of it? Reading this book has given me the insights and energy to bring my hidden powers to this world and just became the secret weapon to slap down that annoying buzzing fly that wouldn't stop buzzing ask over the place. The silence. The peace I have within. The carefreeness of saying and doing what the fkk I want has given me the ability to live life as a more present, peaceful minded, creative individual. I'm just now getting pass the middle of the book and so far I like the way it's hypnotizing me to become better than this s***ty, weak minded, mediocre worth of a society. Excuse me for such sensual language.. :)

A book to remember
This is the kind of book that put you in a way that you will find difficulty reading books after you finish reading it. It contains high amount of old but new ideas in the same time that are introduced with a simple, smooth, brilliant way. It is direct to the point but in indirect way. It left a huge effect on me. I have already read twice but I am going to read it again and again and again. When you read it again, it is as if you are reading it for the first time. It is simple but deep.

Wow :)
Opened my eyes to see what I am really missing out in this life :). Going over and touching subjects that hold us back in western civilization and preaching eastern philosophy that could help us.

Quick and easy read, full of wonderful perspective.
This is my second copy of this book. Upon re-reading I've realized how much this book has influenced my perspective on creativity and peace of mind. I don't fully agree with Osho on all of his opinions on art, but the overall content of the book is saturated with little moments of inspiring thought.

A new percepcion
It certainly wont make you creative from one day to another. But It helps you make conscience about issues that we carry for many years. those issues are responsible of blocking our creativity. What Osho wants us to know is that we have to be free and empty, so we can start creating from a certain pace with in.It makes you think. Enjoy!

Great book by Osho.
This is an interesting and informative book on the artists journey. However one chapter was a little dated and opinionated that really spoilt the journey for me .I love Osho's writing and understanding of the transcendent nature of growth. Having read many volumes of his books under the name of Bhagwan Shee Rajneesh.I would recommend..

Printed by Amazon ... I have no words!!
I was so shocked when I opened the book that I started laughing, I couldn't believe it.Book is printed upside down! But not only that it's also printed out of the margins and last few lines of every page are cut out. Then I went to the last page, which is the only page printed straight, to find out it's actually printed by Amazon. My inkjet printer has more quality printing text than this book has.Very poor quality, shame on you Amazon to ship this!!!

Osho Always Hits the Mark.
A great read from Osho. He drives home his point very well. His work can be read again and again, and there is always something else to understand at a deeper, spiritual level.. Zen is not always easy to get a handle on, but Osho does a great job with some very penetrative communication. If you are into Zen, in my opinion, this book will prove to be of great value.
