Happy with this purchase
I previously used PocketBook Basic (don't remember exact model but one of the first ones) which I bought in 2011 or 2012 and it is still working fine, but I decided to change it.I am happy with InkPad for many reasons:1) bigger screen - 7.8 inches against 6 inches in my previous book, but not too big - still comfortable to use2) sensitive and fast touchscreen3) still looks like a paper but has a SmartLight - my previous book did not have screen light so I am really amazed that I can read in a darkness :)So far - I am happy with my book. It is just a first day of using.Update: hardware is fine, software button to go to the store doesn't really work - book gets stuck, has to reload it. Still can approach their shop via browser. Not a big loss - still not going to buy books in their store.

Could be physically tougher
Design is good and the screen is a pleasure to read from. Software is a bit inconvenient and sometimes buggy. Sadly the device broke after I put too much grocery into the packpack where it was stored in a padded laptop compartment.

No good.
I used the InkPad 3 Pro less than 2 months, after which a part of the previously read book remained on the screen, which can't be removed from the screen.

Barely usable
I bought the bigger screen InkPad 3 Pro hoping that it would give a much better experience than a Kindle, but was very disappointed. It's lightweight but... It can barely handle PDFs, the screen is still much too small for any textbooks, etc. As a news reader, it's extremely laggy, limited to the few RSS feeds that still exist, and just load a lite version of the webpage anyway. Using it with epubs is alright but nothing to write home about or justify the price. The backlight, while it has many LEDs, is uneven with a bright spot along the bottomDrawing on it is painful as wellI'm returning it and keeping my Onyx Boox Note 2 instead (despite it costing almost twice as much - but you get a 10.3" octa core android 9 epaper tablet that can be used for almost anything
