SKULLCANDY Jib+ Active Sweatproof Headphones - Blue

These were to replace an old pair of Jib+, which developed a fault in the on/off button. They are not the highest quality but they don't claim to be, and they are excellent for less than a tenner.The box contains a little pouch in which you can store the two extra sets of gel pieces, the cable and the little clip. The earpieces fit nicely, though they are a little bit bulky. I think they might contain the batteries. The little 'antlers' looked a bit weird too but they help the headphones fit securely. I stopped noticing the size after a day.Connection-wise, they had no problems connecting to my Android tablet and my iPhone. You press the ON button for 5 seconds to kick off pairing.The sound quality is ok for TV all dialogue is clear even at low volumes.The mic is where these are a bit of a let-down, just like the old Jib+. A few people have complained that the sound has an echo and they can't hear me properly. I mostly use them for Netflix, so I’m not too bothered about the mic.All in all, a good little bargain.

Very good sound quality, clear, expressive, without crackles! Nevertheless, I am very disappointed with the quality of the batteries. I bought the headphones yesterday, charged them overnight; In the morning, after connecting to the phone, the indicator showed 80%! I listened to music for 40 minutes...max! ...and a voice in the headphones started informing me about low battery, and after a while the headphones disconnected... The headphones are dead! I repeated the landing... the result was the same!...

Yes they were cheap, but not impressed overall. Only use it in the gym 2-3 times a week for a max 1 hour each time, and the didn't last a week. I'd charged them for a day and it reported 90% charged, so I left them charging overnight... this morning 80% capacity? Don't find earbuds very good and one ear keeps falling out (but previous Skull Candy set that broke fitted fine - but the ear-buds are slightly different design and don't swap over). Undecided as they were cheap - but likely to return as they're not that good.

The only slight downside is the lack of magnetic ends on the buds for keeping them tidy when not in use. But overall a very good buy

The earpieces are extremely large and heavy so are difficult to wear comfortably. Totally felt like “O Houra” from the original Star Trek while wearing them. There’s a piercing ‘electricity’ sound from them when turned on which makes it hard wearing on the inner ears too. Overall a very disappointing product. Am trying to return the product but customer service is quite poor. Would advise to avoid buying these.

These sugarskull headphones are great used them a few times now love the colour we'll in your ears and sounds quality great

Absolutely LOVE this design – much more than my older Skullcandy Jib+ Wireless In-Ear Earbuds, which keep falling out when I run. HOWEVER the battery does not seem to be charging properly. My old Skullcandy battery consistently lasts 6 or more hours per charge. I see that another reviewer had this same issue, and it seemed to sort itself out after the 2nd full charge. So I'm giving it another go, fingers crossed it will hold an 8hr charge next time. Will update here. UPDATE: I think I got a dud. On the 3rd full charge, battery lasted 3.5hrs. An improvement each time, but I'm returning this one and ordering a new one.

These have good sound and fairly good charge. However, if I am watching a video the sound always lags behind by a good 2 or 3 seconds. I have tried re-syncing them, tried them on different devices, with different video sources, and it does not matter they are always put by a couple of seconds! Not what I would expect, I have other Bluetooth SkullCandy and they do not have this issue. Very disappointed!!
