Great Substitute
Nothing will ever come close to true cream cheese, but being in a state where I'm not allowed to sell products with cream cheese frosting, this is (by far) the best alternative. I'm still having to toy with the amount I add to get a good flavor, but there are other factors that can attribute to that. So yes, it does have that "fake" flavor to it, but that's what flavors usually are: fake. I'm glad to have it and use it for pumpkin roll season when it comes; or when someone wants lemon or carrot/spice cake. Thank you LorAnn Oils!!!Great company to order from too. Super fast shipping.

I expected more of a cream cheese aroma. It just smells kind of sweet, slightly vanilla. Not sure it’s worth using this chemical laden emulsion for frosting.

Incredible product!!
Great value for the money as a little goes a long way as it is highly concentrated and very strong!! The quality is amazing and it smells so great!! Sealed great for shipping so no worries that it will come damaged. I use this in my sugar cookies and my strawberry shortcake is one my top sellers as this makes it so authentic it is hard to replicate!

Did not create the cheese icing flavor I was hoping for
I've used other LorAnn products and was expecting more out of this one. It has a bitter, off-putting smell and unfortunately tastes the same. I used this in American buttercream in place of "real" cream due to extreme heat of summer. While it did hold up better, the smell and taste was not good. I was embarrassed to serve this but didn't have time to replace the icing. If you know what butter extract smells like, it's very similar. Would not recommend this product at all.
