SewellDirect SW-30537 Lightwave 3x1 Optical Toslink Switch with Remote

I ordered this switch so I could stream audio from my Apple TV and my Satellite box to the streamer for my hearing aids. It works flawlessly and I can now listen privately or just enhance the audio as I watch TV. Great product. I would highly recommend this product if you was to direct more than one optical audio connection to one source.

The device does what it claims for me. I have two game consoles with Blu-Ray players. Both play 5.1 DTS without issue. The remote works well. The remote's materials could be a little better.

bought it to toggle back and forth between Netflix and Amazon Fire so my Dad could use headphones. I accidentally bought the correct device. (I'd intended to buy a different device, but this one turned out to be what I needed: yay!) So I was happy; had to buy the separate optical cable, though. Good customer service when I couldn't figure out how to use it

Works as advertised and I have no issues with sound quality or latency as far as sound being behind whats happening on screen. Its also small so it will fit anywhere. My only gripe is that its a little hard to see the lights that specify which audio signal you have chose but that doesn't affect the performance of the product.

The optical switch I purchased is working exactly as I wanted. I need to switch three inputs (TV, a TIVO, and a bluesy player) to one output to a Vizio sound bar. All is working as it should. Delivery was very rapid (2 days) even though I only paid for standard shipping it came by priority mail.

Product received is not as advertised. The box has the same part number, but is in fact a 1x3 splitter, not a 3x1 switch. In other words it takes one input and splits it between three output sources, rendering the item totally useless for switching between the three input sources to one output I need and was advertised. Product in the box was not as pictured and is missing markings/buttons. I'll be returning and purchasing a different product from a different manufacturer. You can see in the photo the same product number, the sticker with the false description and the printing on the box that clearly states this is a 1x3 splitter and not a 3x1 switch.

Bought a Sonos and was pissed I was not getting 5.1 until I read an article on how to use this. Bought it and BOOM, my movies are now awesome with 5.1

I tried to integrate with my Logitech harmony and it wasn't consistently successful. If I used the mcg remote it always worked. Decided to upgrade the receiver instead.

Totalmente recomendado para personas que tengan muchos dispositivos con salida optica pero pocas entradas en el decodificador o Home theater, Incluye un pequeño control remoto que lo hace muy amigable y fool proof. Excelente Switch optico de muy buena calidad. Completamente recomendado.
