Superb, probably the most convenient 4 camera WiFi CCTV system on the market below ยฃ600
I have 3 Yeskamo systems, two 16" Monitor based (with upgraded HDs) and one 'black box' unit. These were purchased after trying 4 other systems over a period of 2 years - all these proved poor outside in terms of PIR range, built-in lighting & build quality, very unreliable in terms of WiFi and several required a hefty monthly subscription. The whole CCTV market is flooded with hyped, basic, but 'pretty looking' systems, most of which are totally inadequate to support a police criminal case in a court or provide peace of mind at night when predators and vandals are walking around outside intent of doing damage - I had real problems! The battery based systems may initially appear convenient, but the performance restrictions imposed by their power saving features ruin their usefulness - always read the 'small print' and read at least 30 reviews on several different sites before purchase and you will learn the truth. The Solar powered systems proved slightly better, but the power technology also limits PIR and floodlight range at night, i.e. by 3AM on a 'busy night', with PIR Detection LED floodlights set 'on,' my battery was flat and the camera was no longer transmitting. After wasting a lot of time and money I gave Yeskamo a try and have no regrets, especially the 'colour' night vision which is achieved via several very bright and power efficient LED 'floodlights' which scared away some vandals. My six 'below gutter' mounted Yeskamo cameras, covering the entire inner perimeter of my property, have been working perfectly since March. Despite being fully wired with CAT6E cable, I am only using its INTERNAL WiFi system for the time being. I have little doubt that pushing this to eight cameras will tax the overall wireless system to the point of instability, but with six cameras this systems' standalone WiFi performance is truly superb and did not require any of the repeater/boosters I purchased- far better than my separate high-end upstairs, downstairs and outside independent systems. Mains power is a pain, but there is currently no other realistic option for proper 'full-time' surveillance at night. However, you are not forced to use the supplied plug-in 12V transformer 'wall warts' for every camera. Instead, I ran 25mm black round PVC conduit beneath my guttering and mounted each camera on a Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-XS deep junction box/base (drilling-out and re-threading with larger entry ports). These deep camera mounts/junction boxes also have space to contain the large clumsy Ethernet and 12V power tails on each camera without having to drill large (22mm) holes into your wall. Also the built-in waterproof seal on each mount negates the need to fit the even larger rear connector shell to keep the connector moisture free. Please note that you will have to elongate the camera mounting holes by around 3mm (use a cheap sideways cutting drill bit or Dremel with a grinding bit) to achieve alignment with Hikvision 3 point threaded holes. Although this may seem to be a lot of effort and extra cost it makes camera mounting far easier and neater especially if you need to hard wire any area with difficult reception. I chose to power all the cameras via 2.5mm multi-core conduit cable, terminated at each camera with Chanzon 5.5mm x 2.1mm 12V DC Power Connectors, from an 18 Channel 12V 30A DC CCTV Power Distribution cabinet mounted in my loft (fitted with additional intake/exhaust 40mm cooling fans). Given that each camera only draws around 1Amp you could reduce the cost by fitting a 10Amp PSU, but the cooling and reliability of the 30A Surom unit I chose was already proven in another system so I was content to pay extra and ditch the cheap PSU that came with the cabinet. I am also using Hikvision DS-1250ZJ hoods fitted with 35mm high density foam, which acts as an interface and spacer to the wall, to protect the cameras from heavy rain and snow, but they are properly sealed from moisture. In sum, the Yeskamo system and software are excellent, but the User manual is rather vague and needs doubling in size to properly explain some of the features. Night vision is flawless to 80 feet. Motion detection works as described and easily adjusted to exclude User defined zones. Picture quality is noticeably better than normal HD, but obviously not as good as 4K. UPDATE: 01 APRIL 2023 After more than a year of 24/7 service, all cameras are still working perfectly and the Wi-Fi seems to be almost bullet-proof with just the occasional 'stutter' during 'high variation events', i.e. very strong wind moving grass, plants & trees outside. This system still easily scores 5/5! I see that Yeskamo are now making solar powered PTZ Wi-Fi cameras, but I am not sure if these can be added to this system to achieve the perfect solution at the bottom of my driveway where I have no power?

Very easy to setup, very good quality kit
Have been looking for a wireless security camera kit for a while, decided to buy this one after reading good reviews and being discounted over Christmas. It includes 4 wireless cameras, an NVR with screen all the cables and fittings to install the camera's, it didn't come with a hdd, I already had a 3.5" hdd I could use. I was surprised how easy it was to set up, just plug in the supplied power adapter to the cameras, switch on the NVR, run the short setup wizard and all the cameras appear on the screen. I used the included mouse to setup it all up, it is also possible to view the camera's through a phone, tablet or pc, just connect the NVR to your router with the Ethernet cable and pair with a QR code (I used IP Pro on Android to view on a phone away from home at any time, works very well). There's lots of options on the NVR for motion detection, camera setup up, playback etc., very comprehensive and easy to use menu system. One of reasons why I bought this kit was the built in Pir lights and the 2 way audio option (which works really well) another standout feature is the repeater option, I can use a camera with a strong signal to boost the signal from a camera with a weaker signal further from the house (again works very well and an option I use). The quality of the picture is outstanding, image is bright and detailed, both day and night, if the Pir is used at night, it records in colour, the light can be switched off/on as needed depending on location. The WiFi signal is very good, I live in a stone house with very thick walls and the camera's are around 30-40ft away from the NVR, the repeater option works very well, the kit also comes supplied with an extended antenna that can be added to one the camera's if the signal is not so good (I haven't needed to use it yet). A couple of things I will mention are the power cables for the cameras are around 2 metres long, there is one 2 metre extention supplied, but I bought extra 5m and 10m cables because of camera location. Also one of the camera's had to be installed upside down, because of the antenna was in the way of camera mounting, however after looking through the camera menu on the NVR there is an option to invert the image so not a problem. Overall very pleased with system, all items in kit very good quality, comprehensive instructions, playback and recording easy to use and very easy to setup (just need to finalise camera installation), just a matter of plugging in, works straight away. I will be adding more camera's in the future and perhaps a larger hdd drive (it will overwrite if it gets full). I would recommend this security system and hope this review helps anybody thinking of purchasing. Edit: Had a problem with a couple of the cameras (ir leds failed), emailed Yeskamo, and Blue from customer services replaced them no problem at all, received new cameras in a week. Have to say their customer service is outstanding, thanks very much Blue.

Yeskamo CCTV System
This is an excellent buy, easy to install, easy to set up and very good value for money. Compared to the video door bell equivalent would a similar price for a door bell and floodlight camera. Each camera on this system has it's own floodlights and talkback facility meaning you can let a visitor know you've seen them and make it known that unwanted visitors are being watched and filmed. They also have a siren built in which you can disarm if you wish. We have not found it necessary to add the WIFI boosters that Yeskamo can supply even though the camera's are all outside and the top right picture on the screen is quite a distance for our hub. This image shows the picture as you'd see it with the floodlight on whilst it is completely dark outside, the other images on the monitor which are in night vision are still clear enough to see anything going on out there. The 16'' monitor is very well made with space in the back for a hard drive which we have added a 2tb drive. on set up its easy to follow the steps on screen to connect the system to your mobile devices and watch all camera's and use the talk over facility from your mobile phone.. the build quality of the whole system is very good and for a very good price. It's a quality product at a budget price in my mind. If you are considering a CCTV system that you can fit your self at a good price then I'd highly recommend this and if you are not able to fit the camera's outside as you'd not got equipment then they can be installed indoor by a window

Hardrive not detected
Installed seagate harddrive but not detected. Both the hardrive and cctv system were bought together. What could it be. Been through the process to format but it doesn't work. Shall I return the hard rive for a new replacement?
