I rented this video for my children so they could learn more about the Reformation in a easy-to-learn video format. It was awesome... I have since used his eschatology series when teaching.

This is a straight bible lecture. I thought it might add something to my public-school classroom lesson on this time period, but it was no appropriate for that purpose.

Only the truth can reform a person, in order to truly love another person, the truth of the word has to transform.

Riveting from start to finish.

Set in Germany in early 16th Century,based on true events,this is a three cornered life and death struggle between Martin Luther (Protestantism), assorted clerics and princes (Catholicism) and Thomas Muntzer (Holy Communism).Great performances and direction.(German dialogue and English subtitles only).

Nothing it wasn’t even in English

Not the usual glowing portrayal of Luther - shows him with feet of clay. The English subtitles does not help the flow of the movie either. Worth watching once.
