Works Well!
This weed puller is easy to use and saves wear and tear on my fingernails and does not make my husband crazy like it does when I use a screwdriver of his to pull weeds. This is a very useful tool.

A trowel that works well
I found Friskars makes an excellent trowel for yard work. While others break when force is applied or bends up during use; Friskars does not. The trowel is extremely strong and will survive where other manufacturers won't. I will not buy any others in the future. This trowel is highly recommends for yard work. This company makes very rugged utensils, shovels and other products of very high quality.

This tool works
I bought this tool for dandelion removal in my lawn. Bottom line is this tool works.Context: Rremoving dandelions embedded in my herbicide/pesticide-free lawn. I am writing this from the standpoint of what I wanted to know prior to choosing this tool.Pros:1) If you center the two prongs of the business end of the tool around the stalk/root of the dandelion and push down about 1 to 1.5 inches, you will be able to lever the entire root of the dandelion out of the ground. It took me a few tries to figure out how best to center the two prongs and the optimal spacing away from the dandelion (about 0.25 inches) before levering the dandelion out of the ground.2) I was able to minimize the amount of lawn grass that gets pulled up by moving the prongs closer to the stalk (0.25 inches away, as noted above). Whatever little dirt or grass does come up, I simply pat back into the ground.3) The leftover hole size is minimal and I was able to quickly pat the small amount of uplifted dirt firm and flat. (You need to do this. Otherwise you'll have little dirt patches showing from where you weeded.)4) I was able to consistently get the full length of the root out of the ground after a few tries. You want to GET THE FULL ROOT out of the ground to make sure the dandelion does not grow back.5) I found the tool sturdy, easy to use and levered just the right amount.6) My soil was softened up from rain, so that made the weed extraction a lot easier compared to trying to do the same in dry hardened soil. My recommendation is to use this tool when the soil is softened up from rain or watering.7) Excellent quality. Very affordable and a solid value. I plan to use this tool for many years to come.Cons:1) You have to bend down to use this tool. Aside: I thought about getting a standup dandelion puller, but I didn't like the idea of having a relatively large diameter hole remaining from the plug of soil and grass that gets pulled out with the dandelion. And then I'd need to put in topsoil and grass seed to fill the hole.2) I wish I knew about this tool sooner. But that's on me.

Extremely easy to use
I ordered this weeding tool to help with my weeding chores around our house. I was so surprised at how easy it was to use and how well it fit in my hand. I was able to quickly...very quickly...get down to the roots of the weeds and remove them without much effort at all.The quality of this weeding tool was impressive, not flimsy at all like some I've seen. I was able to apply pressure against it to remove weeds without worrying it would bend or break.I like to keep my yard tools clean and I'm happy to say this one was very easy to clean after I was done.

Excellent
Is perfect for what I wanted it for which is yardwork, mostly digging up weeds. It’s very sturdy and effective and feels great in my hand. I am a fan of Fiskars in general. So I assumed this would be satisfactory and it has more than met my expectations.

a good tool
A handy tool for getting rid of dandelions, but if you've got more than 10, your back might be in for a challenge. So, I handed it over to my ten-year-old son, and he's loving it, feeling accomplished too.

Haven't started using yet - just got in mail today.
Looks good quality - robust and unlikely to bend like so many other versions of the same type of tool. Will revise once used. But looks promising.
