Update! I wanted THIS particular foot hammock so I took the chance and bought another one and this time it is perfect!! The buttons fasten and stay fastened allowing weight to be administered to the item without it falling apart. I can’t wait to use this on my trip in a few days!!This was exactly what I wanted! It has a firm removable base, the padding between the feet option, it adjusts to the right height (for me 5’0”) and I like the way the strap attaches to the hammock. It’s made with what appears to be good material that will hold up for many uses. HOWEVER, I received defective items and they both had to be returned. On both of them one of the snaps/buttons wouldn’t fasten, making the units useless, as the velcro is not strong enough alone to keep it secure enough to hold it together. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the snaps and that I ended up having to purchase one from another company that isn’t exactly what I wanted, like this one is.

This is a nice tool for people with short legs who are uncomfortable in standard sized chairs. While airplanes make this challenging to use due to their lack of space in general, once you get it set up, it’s padded and comfortable for your feet. It does fold up into a relatively small size, but you’ll need to make sure you allow for ample space in your carryon if you desire to use it.

The bottom isn’t sturdy and it bends into a U shape which is not comfortable.

I've gone through so many leg-hammocks, and all of them either failed to perform or fell apart. One thing that I find is a must for these things is the presence of a supportive backing that provides a flat or solid surface: that allows you to actually move your legs around and give them space, instead of squishing them next to each other or bunching them on top of each other. Two of the hammocks I bought had this problem, and they were NOT comfortable.The first leg-hammock I bought had the supportive backing, but unfortunately the backing tore through its cheap fabric and basically rendered the whole thing useless. That one was my favorite until it self-destructed.But finally, THIS item checked all the boxes. Supportive backing? Check. Lots of padding? Check. Adjustability for length? Tons. You can even adjust the padding to create a partition for each of your legs, which is a neat plus. The only catch is that this is slightly more expensive than the others I tried, but honestly the price difference is basically negligible in comparison to its actual value and usage. If you want to rest your legs, ease your back pain, or just relax during a rough work day, this is the way to go.
