Custom Install Parts 6.5" inch & 6.75" inch Aftermarket Front Door Factory Stock Speaker Adapter Pair

I bought it to fit the JBL GTO638 in the soundbar of my 2012 JK, it turned out this comes with the speakes so I did not use it.

Good product made the job simpy

I followed the directions and only broke off the tabs. I did so very carefully and the ring still snapped in half. This thing is more delicate than glass but expects you to break tabs off of it to fit 6.75" speakers. In the ends i got it to work but only after breaking it into three pieces so it would connect to all three screw holes on the door. Apparently this ring is about a quarter inch smaller than it's supposed to be. The product was very frustrating to deal with and I somewhat knew that going in from the other reviews but it was the only mount I could find for my PT Cruiser. And luckily, I was able to make it work.

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews, I assume user error. These are made of the same material as any other speaker bracket, and aren't brittle as described in other reviews. Use them correctly, and they work awesome. These are the only decent 6 3/4" speaker adapters I've even found so far.

Upon reading the positive, five star reviews for this product (which are not the majority) I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I have never been so dissatisfied with a product in all my years of being a costumer on Amazon. The product arrived in a timely manner and that is the only positive thing about it. First, these don't even fit my 6.75" speakers correctly, which is the reason I bought them. The holes barely line up. I couldn't find two normal holes that lined up with my speakers, much less three. Second, they are incredibly flimsy. Not even five minutes after taking one out of the package and checking it out to see if it would line up with the holes in the door, it broke. And no, I was not manhandling it. Third, it says that for 6.75" speakers, the inside tabs are supposed to be broken off. Well, unless you have some special cutters, good luck with that! I tried snapping it off with pliers and could not get the bigger tabs off. Then, while trying to break the tabs off, the second one broke as well.If you're looking for quality adapters, look elsewhere. I would give this product 0 stars if I could. I wish I would have heeded the other terrible reviews this product has gotten and saved my money.

Finally - an adapter that actually fits 6.75" speakers. And it's flat, so I won't need to rip apart my whole door. Tabs are meant to be break-off, as you can see with the premade score lines (use pliers). People who complained of the brackets breaking while they were trying to "saw them" didn't get the memo.

Adapters working great.

These are trash. They are made of very rigid and brittle plastic. Description makes it sound like you just snap off the tabs and go.. but they self destruct when you do that. Even after scoring the tabs multiple times with a razor, the bracket snapped into 3 pieces when trying to break the tab off. Basically, you gotta plan on cutting the tabs off with a dremel if you want to use these. Oh and the outer tabs were too large to fit the existing door brackets without modification anyways.
