Perfect Beginner Bow for Training Thumb Draw
18lb draw seams weak sauce, but it is the perfect weight for setting a good foundation of fundamentals if your just starting off learning thumb draw. And trust me, it'll still be hard on your thumb at first.Don't expect to get much out of it past 15-20 feet. Just recognize this bow is ideal for fundamental training and you'll get your fair share of worth out of it just by forming good cornerstone habits that you'll quickly be able to translate up to a heavier draw weight.Hypothetically you could train on this for almost a month, return it before the 30 day window is up, and you'd be ready for a heavier bow, putting the refund towards that. I kept mine because it's still fun to shoot indoors during the winter. Piece of plywood up as a backstop, good to go. No chance of punching through like you would with a heavier draw in close quarters.4 stars only because the bow will slowly work itself apart where it joins together and eventually come apart if your not consciously working those two pieces back together after every couple shots. Guess you could jb weld it, but I like the backpack-ability of it too. So when I go backcountry camping with my gf, we have a bow we can both have fun screwing around with (my other backpack bow is too heavy for her at 60lbs).Checkout Armin Hirmer's youtube channel: "Archery Review: Mughal Crab Bow by Elong Outdoor" video for a more thorough review.

Feels like a plastic toy, but shoots ok for basic beginner from up to 18 feet away.
This bow looks great. I’ve shot it for about 3 hours.Max distance is 20 feet. The arrows just kind of lob toward the target. It feels like plastic not fiberglass. It also feels like a toy to me, but for my girl friend, who is small Asian women, it works ok, since she has no experience at all. There is a lot of extra slack in the string. as I’m 6 foot tall and can draw it past my ear.So with her short arms, there is a lot of energy not being stored in the draw. She has to pull behind her head. I wish it came with a shorter string length.I think a shorter string would work on this. Perhaps it will add more snap and give a more satisfying experience.I guess for a very small beginner it’s ok.I would be interested to see what the 30lbs is like, but the shipping time is practically a month. Though they did send it soon since I requested it because it was a present.

Begginers bow
Nice little take down bow, bought it for my wife, she likes it. You can pull this al the way to 33 inches. Good if your trying to learn thumb draw and don't want to spend a lot. definitely for beginner. can be a fun little bow if you get the 30# one.
