Warm notice: Pointed tips, please keep away from kids under 3 years old. Review: Super cute - I love these I used them for a party during the holidays. They were festive and fun and did the job. Sturdy and cute. They dressed up the dish and did the job. Love that they are a pack of 100 and versatile for drinks or food. Review: Good for smaller chunks of fruit, cheese and charcuterie; black paint-dipped ends vary in length - These stylish picks are definitely easier to pick up than a toothpick. But--being so short--their use seems limited. Usable space on a pick ranges from just under 2" to almost 2 1/2". So seriously consider the size of your nibbles and appetizers before purchasing these. They are too short for golf ball-size meatballs. (They will fit but they will be disproportionately large and heavy for the small red disk--and fingernails can be too close to the meatball.) These picks are too small for martini glasses, too. (You'd poke your eye out.) Also be very aware of my third sentence above: These are not precision made. The black paint-dipped end varies by a half inch. That's fine if you are tossing these in a small container and placing besides a pile of fruit or cheese chunks. But if you've worked hours on a presentation platter of perfectly-shaped appetizers, these will bring your creation down.

See review for 6" option, which is currently less expensive than these shorter skewers
These toothpicks come in a box that measures approximately 5 X 3 X 1โ. The toothpicks themselves are 3.5โ long. The little red โdotsโ are just over a quarter of an inch. I think the pictures make these look a little bit larger than what they really are. The โwhiteโ part of the pick is about 2.5โ. The certainly are attractive, but at over thirteen bucks, they are not cheap. Check-out the link below. You get the exact same skewers, but 6โ length, and they are currently almost have the price of these. For that special occasion, they will look quite nice. Handsome little cocktail picks (meat in the photo may give you a misimpression--these are hors d'ouvre picks, not skewers)
Very well made little cocktail picks, much nicer in appearance and construction than your typical cheap supermarket frill pick (and priced accordingly). These are nice amd sturdy enough to reuse (hand wash). They remind me of the fancy vintage picks in my collection. One note: while the description accurately describes them, the cube of meat in the picture might give the misimpression these are grill-type skewers, and they're far too small for the grill, and smaller than I would even use for satay hors d'ouvres.

Cute small skewers
These are cool, but I think I was expecting something much larger. Each of these is about the size of a toothpick. In fact these work great as toothpicks. Those pieces of meat and pineapple in the product photo must be smaller than tic tacs. Still, if you manage that expectation and want fancy toothpicks to serve appetizers at a party, these are really cool. They are consistently made, and the little red thing makes them easy to handle at a party without touching food (which is very important... we shake hands at parties and I hate touching food without washing my hands). The toothpicks are substantial enough to be used on beef, but I used them on pieces of fruit and cheese together, and olives and cheese. They add a little touch of class. I really like these with the olive on top of a sandwich as well. My only hang up with these is that they are a bit pricey for 100 nice toothpicks, but after looking around I think they are actually the normal price.

Durable and easy to use
Durable and easy to use. The ball on end keeps kabobs from sliding off. Also great for miniature sandwiches. Have a classy looking snack ready in minutes. A lot easier to hang onto than toothpicks.

Sturdy, nice looking
These bamboo picks are nice and slightly sturdier than ordinary toothpicks. I like the red bead and black tips for contrast. They are not much larger than a toothpick - the usable length is about that of a full toothpick. These work well for appetizers or as a sandwich pick. My only reservation is the cost - they are a bit pricey. Depending on how you use them, a pack of 100 would be gone pretty quickly during a single party. But value is in the eyes of the consumer so if these are something you can use, they are well made, look good and add a nice touch to any meal or event.

Great item which we use at cocktail time!
These are just great for putting the olives on when I am mixing my martinis at the end of the day. They look attractive and are just the right size for a couple of Queen Olives. When we have company they really spruce up the presentation of the drink!
