Appears to do the job. 1 tablet including its soluble wrapper in the washer drum.

We’ve had a Miele washing machine for coming up to 2 years now. It’s on everyday (the fun of having twin 2 year olds!) and works fabulously. No issues there.In our previous machine, it developed a horrid smell and mould on the door seal. No amount of hot washes, cleaners or anything helped, until an engineer said and I quote:“Don't waste your money with the cleaners from the shops. You need a cleaner with a high percentage of citric acid, different levels of surfactants, no chemical disinfectants, NO vinegar, plenty of power and one that won’t damage the metals in the machine”He then handed me a box of these.Since then I’ve used them every 3 months without fail. Even once we got our new machine. We live in a super hard water area (South London) and I wanted to remove the problematic limescale and keep everything working well.Well, here’s the interesting part. A few weeks ago, it happened. We always put bras in a washing bag before they go in, the one time we didn’t, one of the wires came out and got stuck behind the drum!A very pleasant Miele engineer came out, opened the drum tub* and was very surprised! The heating element and pump were nearly limescale free, just the lightest film which he said he expected in any 3 month old machine in somewhere with very hard water! He asked what we used and I showed him. He said that I should keep going as the inside of the machine is as clean as the outside and he (while unable to recommend any other product that Miele cleaners) would keep this in mind!So I can quantify it’s usefulness and it’s performance. It works well, cleans brilliantly and removes limescale! A good result. I would recommend then entirely.Just a quick point though. If your machine is very dirty, smelly or mouldy, run the hottest and longest wash you can with no laundry and one tablet in the drum, wait for it to end then do it again, this works really well. The first wash breaks down a lot of the gunge and flushes It away, the second wash does the rest and gets rid of the really stubborn debris and limescale! From then, just do it once every 3 months.Thanks for reading! (*incidentally most machines come with a sealed plastic drum tub that you can’t open, they have to replace the whole assembly costing more than a new machine, Miele drum tubs are steel and can be opened to replace bearings or to get errant socks or bra wires out! EBac is the only other machine brand that does this so it might be helpful for future reference).

I really don’t know how effective this is. There is no scent to them but I think I’m satisfied overall. Looks like it does the job of inside cleaning. Doesn’t leave a sparkling finish though. Recommended overall.

Seems to work at first use but might be more effective after multiple uses, will update.

Having just moved into our first place, the washing machine included needed some TLC. One cycle with this got rid of the yucky smell and all the grime around the seal. It's a brilliant vegan and cruelty free product that works!

Using this for washing machine and so far it's great!
