Couch: 10/10Firmness: 6/10 (1 being a waterbed and 10 a boulder (not just a boulder, MY boulder))Stability: 10/10Color: true to photoAssembly: so easy, a caveman could do it (anybody remember those geico commercials?) Just screw the legs in, then the sofa and chaise slide together via a small metal latch clip thing. Technical term.I live in an apartment and was able to, with the help of the delivery driver, get the couch and chaise over my balcony railing and onto my porch (logistically much easier than going through the front door, also the sliding door is wider than the front door for ease. Though with the lower back height of the couch, this would have been a non-issue.)The company, Stendmar, is absolutely amazing. Communication akin to that of what you might look for in a partner, whether in love or on the battlefield (though one could argue those are one in the same, I digress.) My contact, Tina, was just absolutely the most strategic and client/customer priority driven operative a lone woman, in the city, who has never ordered big-piece furniture before, let alone a sofa/chaise combo, getting it delivered to an apartment, could ask for! Any questions, comments, concerns, flung her way were handled in a manner not dissimilar to that of a certain hat-wearing, whip-toting, archaeology professor. Tina, you're invited to all the things! Weddings, cookouts, concerts, retrieval of ancient artifacts, you name it!I love the medium firmness of the couch, that will surely loosen up the longer the wear ('highest number of naps ever taken on a single couch' record in the making), and the softer, yet still firm back cushions for back support. [Photo with doggo] I added twin fitted sheets to help with cleanup, because shepherd-husky. The ottoman is amazing but will be utilizing it elsewhere until I play transformers with the couch and need a queen sized bed, because it does that. Amazing.What else?.. Fabric soft, sofa-chaise stable and firm, and loved by human and canine alike. No regrets.

Update: we have had this couch for a year and still going strong! Our 3 dogs jump all over it and it's held up great - I expected more wear and tear by this point. The stitching has stayed firm, it is incredibly easy to clean, and no discoloration. Still comfortable and doesn't look or feel broken in. I would definitely purchase this again. We beat the crap out of furniture and this has held up to and exceeded my expectations.We've only had this couch a couple of days, but so far 5 star. Never thought I would order one online but there's a first time for everything! We wanted this for its size and set up, and couldnt find anything like it in stores.Shipping: arrived on time. The vendor is incredibly communicative on when the item is shipped, what to expect, and what to do when it is delivered.Set up: so simple, and its surprisingly light! Loved the pillows that came with it. It was unpackaged and set up in about 15 min.Aesthetics: there's been reviews about it being really firm, but I didnt find that to be the case. If you want to sink into your couch, you might consider this firm, but for me I find it really comfortable. I tend to stay away from the couches one sinks into because they dont wear well. The fabric is more of a bluish gray than pictured (but not bluish to the point where it looks blue, if that makes sense). The fabric looks durable, which I hope is the case. We have 3 dogs and 2 kids, so we'll see how it holds up. I'm 5'10" and can easily stretch out with the 2 kiddos on it for movie nights. When making the queen size bed, it would easily fit 5'8" and below. My feet barely are off the end when laying on the main piece (with no side section attached). If you remove the back pillows, this can easily be a twin sized bed for guests with plenty of length for anyone (set up as a couch).Overall, really pleased with this purchase. I'll update at a later time if I find anything to be different.

REVIEW UPDATE: Well.. it's been almost 6 years since I purchased this sectional sofa. I recently contacted Stendmar and inquired about replacing the cushions on the sofa. Tina at Stendmar was amazing and got it done for me immediately. I also ordered an additional ottoman so I can have this be one big super couch. The sectional still looks great and with the new cushions it feels new again. I cannot say enough good things about this sectional and more importantly Tina at Stendmar. Seriously. If you are on the fence about this sectional; don't be. It is worth the price. I remain super happy with this purchase and the follow-up customer service. Great product. Great people.Original Review:I honestly wasn't expecting much from this purchase. I am recently separated and need to get a couch quick for the house I'm renting so that my kids are comfortable when I have them over. This sectional appears to be well built and sturdy. Assembly was easy enough. Stendmar was very good about communicating with me as soon as I made the purchase. The delivery was easy and the driver was very polite. The last sectional I purchases was 4 years ago from Arhaus for approx 10K. This isn't on that level; however, it isn't that far off. For the price and ease of purchase, I am exceedingly happy.

It's nice looking and somewhat comfortable. It sits very low to the ground so it isn't that comfortable for me. I'm 6'2". It feels like I'm sitting on the ground.

Quality is good. Cushions are firm. Legs are plastic, but that doesn't detract at all, you barely notice them. No need to drill holes for the legs, they just screwed right in. Well packaged, no issues with shipping. Curb side delivery on a pallet. You will need one other person to move the pieces in to the home. Went down my narrow basement stair case very easily. I've just bought a different cheap couch for another room and this Stendmar sectional couch is clearly much better quality.
