Yes the oak finish is shown in the video. It is a pale natural colour very modern. And it really is as simple to extend and reduce as the video shows. Assembly is pretty straightforward too, however it's heavier than it looks and needs 2 people to set up.

How strong is the table when fully opened out will it take the weight of a Christmas dinner?

Good morning The console is solid and once fully opened the weight it can bear is a table set for 12 people

Do the extra pieces of table top lock together to keep the table solid and in one piece?

The extensions are supported by the aluminium telescopic mechanism, with central legs made of iron that give stability to the structure. They are locked together thanks to male and female pins to keep them in one piece.

does this come in the walnut brown colour?
