Underground Toys Doctor Who Ace Remembrance of The Daleks Action Figure

Ace is indeed a very nice figure, one that features a spot on likeness and a ridiculous amount of accessories.The figure is very well articulated. The head pivots, the shoulders are ball jointed, single joints on knees and elbows, the wrists turn, and the legs can bend at the hip or swing out. There is no articulation on the ankles, but regarding how thin the figures legs are, that is perhaps for the best.What sets this figure apart is the options of ways you can display her. The jacket is removable and they include bonus arms that you can swap out so as to have her clad in only a t-shirt. To be honest? I'm not sure how easy it is to swap her arms as I've never tried it. The plastic is very thin, rubbery, and seems frail and I didn't want to take a chance and break my figure. If this toy has any serious downfall, that would be it - it does seem very likely to break if roughly handled.Also included is her rucksack, 3 cans of Nitro 9, a bazooka, and the ball bat she used in the classic episode, "Remembrance of The Daleks". The ruck sack can hold the Nitro 9 or the bat, and the bazooka has a removable rocket.The paint apps are incredible. The amount of detail that went into the badges on Ace's jacket is insane! Kudos to the team responsible for this.As I said, despite the figure being a winner on just about every level, there is some concern about durability. She is better served as a display piece - she stands very well despite the thinness of the legs and the bulk of the rucksack - rather than a child's plaything.All in all, buy her immediately. Ace is one of the coolest of all the classic companions and definitely deserves a spot on your shelf.

I think The 7th Doctor was funny and brilliant. BBC couldn't get their act together and they just let the show die. That's really a shame. As companion to the 7th Doctor ,Ace used several weapons to get them out of danger, and the Doctor didn't shy away from asking for her help. Ace is packaged with her famous backpack, baseball bat, 3 Nitro canisters,RPG launcher, 2 alternate arms and you can remove her jacket. Remembrance of the Daleks was a great episode. This set is a fun reminder of a great team. It's also great for collectors of Classic Doctor Who memorabilia. The Seventh Doctor and Ace.

I have been waiting for this forEVER! I was so glad they came out with an Ace figure, especially because I've heard that this company is going to stop making the 5" figures. Great detailing on Ace's jacket and comes with Timelord technology-infused baseball bat and cannisters of Nitro-9. Goes perfectly with my Seven figure and the TARDIS he came with. :-)

I am appalled by the defects on this figure. The paint on the interchangeable arms hasn't been sealed and actually flakes off (a hazard for children). The left ball joint itself is unfinished, making the arm inoperable. The Dr. Who figures by Character Options and Underground Toys have been mostly superb--this is a real low. And Ace is my favorite companion--what an insult to Sophie Aldred!

Haven't opened it yet but it looks awesome, tons of accessories, really good likeness, so the usual high quality of the 5" DW figures.

For classic whovians this is a must buy. Ace was a great female companion and this action figure comes with a lot of accessories/weapons.

Best. Companion. Ever.My only complaint is the arms feel like they're breaking if you try to switch them.
