Excellent Mag Holder
First of all there is a 'double stack' and a 'single stack' version as listed. Was looking for a single stack double mag holder for IDPA 'bug' (EDC CCW) matches. For the record, I use a S&W M&P Shield 9mm. This fits the bill very well indeed.Never had a problem with Blackhawk products. They always seem to be good value for the money and this is no exception.1. Quite a sturdily made mag holder as per all the Blackhawk accessories I have owned.2. Retention is a little tighter than I prefer but still very usable for IDPA. Although not a lot of finger room between the two mags, but not a deal breaker. Both S&W M&P Shield single stack 8 round mags are held securely with no chance of falling out when running or going prone, etc, with the front being slightly tighter than the rear. Carried on left side, mag fronts forward (R/H shooter).3. Adjustable belt retaining clip. Just use a flat blade screwdriver and turn 90*, move to where it fits your belt and rotate back 90* to lock it back in place with screwdriver again. Have it adjusted to fit a Black Scorpion IDPA velcro adjustable belt and almost zero movement.4. The carbon fiber look is a bonus and looks awesome to say the leastOverall a sturdy, well made double mag holder. Would have no problems buying another if required or recommending this product.

Great holder for thinner belts
Have used this model with thinner belts and it worked great. Am building a range belt w/ a 2" patrol belt as the base and these simply will not work. The design won't accommodate a thicker belt. Great grip mags and will work well with personal carry or thinner belts.

This is a good magazine pouch that holds various styles and sizes of double stack magazines!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this magazine pouch to use it with multiple weapons. I wanted something that would work with my Sig 226 and also my Glock 23 and Glock 19 magazines which are two distinct sizes. When I first got this mag pouch it was set up and it easily fit the Glock magazines without any adjustment. There is an adjustment screw in the front center between the two mag pouches that allows you to adjust for the thickness of the magazines that you will be carrying. This pouch is designed for double stack magazines so do not buy this for a single stack or even a 1 ½ stack magazine. (Not for S&W Shield 9 mm or 40 cal)In my video I show multiple sizes of Glock 40 cal magazines and also 9 mm mags for a Sig 226. I show how to adjust the mag pouch. There is no spring in the mag pouch and the tension on the magazines is supplied by the natural pressure of the molded plastic of the pouch and the tension can be adjusted but using the tension screw. Some magazines may be way too tight to fit into the pouch when you first get it but just loosen the screw and push in the magazines. Let the pouch set over night and it will loosen up to fit the mags well. Plastic is easily stretched and reformed and the tension screw can always be tightened. Some people complained that they could not insert two mags facing the same way and that is also not a problem. I have had no issues with multiple types of magazines and for different gun manufacturers. I show this in my video. To me that is important as you want to draw the magazines out and have them facing the proper direction for you to quickly insert them into your weapon and reload. The magazine pouch in the video is the standard mat finish version without the fancy carbon fiber look. The carbon fiber look is added by sticking two decals, that probably cost about 15 to 20 cents apiece, onto the mat finish version and they charge you 5$ for the two decals that I believe will not hold up in rough wear. I own a set of both so I know the difference between the two and to me it is not worth the extra money. The pouch holds both magazines tightly and they are properly held into place during your activities and I have no complaints. When I inserted the Sig 226 magazines into the pouch they were so loose it was ridiculous. I simply had to tighten the tension screw until they were securely held into place. The only problem, and I show this in my video, is that I have to tighten the screw a lot and it protruded out the back of the pouch into the area where your belt would fit. It sticks out so much that it would interfere with your belt and perhaps even fray an expensive tactical belt. If I were using this pouch for only Sig magazines I would cut off the excess length of the screw so it would not rub on or touch the belt. Please see the video as I clearly show this.On the back side of the pouch is a belt flap that is held into place with two screws. You also have two belt slots through the main body of the mag pouch so if you want to remove the belt flap you can. The slots are wide enough to support the use of a 1 3/4 inch tactical belt. The belt flap does have an adjustment to allow you to use belts of varying widths up to 2 inches. The flap does have a nice hooked tip on it and it helps to lock the flap underneath your belt if you are not using the belt slots. Please see my video. The pouch is curved to fit the shape of your hip or back and to make it more comfortable. It fits the contour of your body. This is a good magazine pouch. I rated it at five stars.

Bought for Kimber 1911 Single Stack 45 ACP
I needed a double magazine pouch for my Kimber 1911 45 ACP, that I could attach to a molle system on a vest. At the same time, I wanted to be able to quickly detach it if I was changing pistols. My original idea was to remove the belt clip from this magazine pouch and affix it to a Guns & Flower Molle Adapter I already had, using nuts and bolts. I might still do that later but for now, I've decided to zip tie the two together and that's worked out fine. It's very secure and can be removed, from the vest, easily and quickly. This mag pouch is extremely sturdy and holds my single stack 45 mags perfectly. I can easily adjust the tension if needed. It has an attached belt clip that's also sturdy and a molded belt slot, which is another bonus for this pouch. Don't hesitate to buy this one if you need a double mag pouch for single stack 1911 45 ACP mags. This one is great! This mag pouch wasn't originally designed for a molle set up but it's working well for me.Below is a link to the G&F Molle Adapter I'm using:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0995MXFXR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1&psc=1GUN & FLOWER MOLLE Adapter, Polymer Modular Attachment for Gun Holsters/Magazine Pouches. Buy Kydex not olastic
It’s ok for the price but it doesn’t adjust tight enough to securely hold my double stack mags. I’m using it for 20 round Sig P226 9mm mags and have it snugged tight but the mags still fit a little loose.

Awesome!
Nice tight fit for magazines. It’s great while wearing and is hardly noticeable while wearing a shirt.

Great Mag holster
I am newish to the sport of shooting, and I have not used a lot of products, but in the circle I am in I think I have some kind of informed opinion.I got two of these, they work perfectly. Easily adjust the tension for your double stack mags, so they are as tight as you'd like them to be. Attacked to my belt no problem with a friction fit (I can move the mags easily across the belt, but they do not move on their own during my circuits I run.)
