I was a little disappointed that I didn’t find a larger device, but actually this is fine. I have a lot of these duster style sweaters that don’t close in front and they’re really not warm enough because they don’t close in front. Therefore I want to add something to them so that I can keep them at least partly closed. I like the fact that this one doesn’t have a hook. It has a kind of button. I like that because hooks tend to catch on things.Unfortunately, they do fall open rather easily when I’m moving around.

These are perfect for a particular project of mine. Not too big not too small. They're nice enough looking. One part slips under and into the "ring" on the other side. See attached picture.

I removed all the hook and eyes on a suit jacket and replaced them with 4 of these clasp. They are lightweight so they don't pull down on the garment, but stable to hold the clasp without coming apart. Size is perfect and not over whelming on the jacket. Great buy to renew the look of my jacket.

These clasps are attractive, but they weren't up to the task of closing some hefty cloaks I made. They ultimately fell apart mid-show.
