These are some of the pictures from my sons 2nd birthday party! The chalkboard signs looked perfect & exactly what I was needing for the party!! ONLY downfall I had was that they would barely stand up.. some were more sturdy than others but you will definitely want to glue the bottoms together. If not, they’ll fall out of the bottom piece or easily knock over. I would totally give 5 stars, but I gave 4 because of that.

I had an outdoor party and one of the things we served was a huge variety of cheeses. We used these chalkboards without the bottom of the stands and just stuck the sticks directly into the cheese. Everyone kept telling me how much they loved the idea and enjoyed learning the names of some of the unique varieties that we served. I would totally buy these again in a heartbeat to use with cheese. If I was to use these to just stand up on their own I would probably use just a tiny bit of hot glue to help a couple of them stand up a little bit straighter.Great item and a great price!!!

They are a little small but used them anyway for cocktail party.

Lesson learned. I should have read the other reviews. They do not erase! The writing surface is rough so the chaulk markers write blurry. They are very flimsy. It doesn’t take much to knock these over and the base to go flying.

Cute and sturdy. Used them to make herb stakes.
