Okay! Let me get right to it quick and easy! We bought this in April and loved it! It was a life savor after our nose frida just wouldn’t work anymore. I got amazon and researched and found this. Gave it a try…. LOVED IT! Fast forward to now…. (August) it started leaking snot/mucus & was not suctioning at all like it used it! I contacted the company and spoke with Mary who was BEYOND AMAZING, and very helpful! They have sent out a replacement no if’s and and buts! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ❤️Extra background- my daughter since she was born constantly had stuffy/runny nose and TONS OF CONGESTION! I mean she’s constantly having to get her nose sucked 24/7 when she gets a cold, every 30 minutes to an hour! We had the nose frida witch don’t get me wrong worked great at the beginning, but around 7/8 months later it just was NOT working! We got this product for her 1st birthday and she’s now 15 months and we are still loving it! When you suck her nose sooooo much drainage comes out it’s disgusting. She loves the music and song and of course the lights! It’s super easy to clean (take apart the top piece run it under hot water let dry, put it together and bam). Repeat! I literally can’t express how great customer service was for this item as well! I reached out to them regarding it leaking and VERY low suction to the point we can’t suck her nose right now because of it! We are awaiting our replacement one now and I’m super excited about it! This item also comes with a case so when you need to bring it in the diaper bag it won’t get damaged/lost! Also comes with two different types of tips, but we really only use the one! 😊I really hope this helps some parents out there! I cannot express how much you’re love this product and you truly won’t be disappointed!(I’ll update new vs old when we receive the new one)! 💗

This product came defective

4 stars because this is the 2nd time ordering - but I’ll explain! My first stopped working after over a year, likely from user error since I had to clean snot out of the bottom part more than once. When it stopped working I ordered a different brand from Walmart, and it hardly works for us brand new. This one is worth a 2nd order!

I purchased this product in 2021, and using it until now. I just replaced the tips for my second baby. They are still working well and good customer service!

We bought this after our infant was discharged from a hospital stay related to RSV. Overall the product is ok. It is easy to use and assemble. However, the suction isn't as strong as I was hoping to be. If we put a good amount of saline in his nose prior it breaks up the mucous and the device can do a decent job. But if you're trying for deep thick mucous it won't do the job well. As for cleaning, I have a difficult time cleaning the chamber piece. It doesn't come apart, but there are holes in the top and bottom. I will fill it with hot water and blow through the bottom to get it out. I repeat this process until all the mucous in the chamber is gone. Some water always remains in the chamber even after being left out to dry for a few days. Overall the product is ok but I don't find myself reaching for it as often as I would like.

We were using the nose frieda before, which is fine, but very manual and honestly hard to suck that hard. Our son also did not love it. With this aspirator, first it is battery operated so no sucking on my part as a parent, but it is also a gentle suck and our 6 week old did not mind at all.We are still new to using this, but so far so good.

This was a bit of a panic purchase in the middle of the night last night cause my 3 week old preemie was really struggling with breathing while eating and was just sounding so nasally. I was trying to use the bulb syringe we were sent home with from the NICU with and some saline but I was barely getting anything out and barely gave her any relief. This baby got delivered this afternoon and I finally used it this evening. I used with baby saline nose drops- one in each nostril. She sneezed some at first but then I fired up the aspirator on the lowest setting. Got a couple of small boogers out from one nostril then when I used it on the other nostril… holyyyy sheet. That thing pulled out the largest booger I’ve ever seen! Bigger than one I’ve seen for an adult. Seriously impressed. Totally worth the $40 price tag.

The suction is just ok compared to the Occobaby nasal aspirator I used to have which seemed more powerful. I can confirm that the battery level reading lower than they actually are. This aspirator does the job though and is pretty easy to clean. The one downside is that the cup that attaches to the base is difficult to remove so I can’t use the nice box that came with it for storage.
