Review: Simple plain tasty abid on an expensive side - The banana chips have always been a joy and these are really nice pack of chips. They are fresh, tasty and simple in flavour. Made in coconut oil and you can tell that from taste. Always packed well and the package that they are in acts as its own container and keeps chips in good condition. Overall they are good. The only flaw is that they are expensive for a banana chips so its really upto individual to judge if price is worth it. For me its a pleasure to indulge from time to time.

- We use only homemade organic coconut oil for making our banana chips. Used oil will not be used again for making chips. Banana is selected from organic farms owned by Kudumbasree and other women led farming network of Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. To ensure good quality and matured banana chips.
- We remove the skin of banana and cut it into small pieces. Then we wash it in water to remove stains and other impurities on banana during peeling. Then we wash it in distilled water with turmeric and salt. This banana is kept for sometime to reduce water content on the chips. Then we fry it in 100 % pure coconut oil and later on keep in filter pan to remove excess oil on the banana.

The banana chips have always been a joy and these are really nice pack of chips. They are fresh, tasty and simple in flavour. Made in coconut oil and you can tell that from taste. Always packed well and the package that they are in acts as its own container and keeps chips in good condition. Overall they are good. The only flaw is that they are expensive for a banana chips so its really upto individual to judge if price is worth it. For me its a pleasure to indulge from time to time.

I received the pack of banana chips in excellent condition. The packing was superb and the chips were super fresh. As soon as I opened the pack, I inhaled the beautiful fresh aroma of fresh coconut oil which I love so much. The chips no doubt were crispy and tasty but the salt was very very mild thereby dampening the overall experience. Although less salt is good for hypertension patients. Moreover the chips were somewhat thick, they should have been thin slices which would have made them even more crisper. One more plus point was that the chips were in full coin shapes which is very unlikely to be found in other chips brands as you can see in the attached photo. The chips came in aluminium foil packaging and not in the plastic container shown in the photo. It is for reference purposes only.It is good that they did not use plastic for packing.
