What a Back Saver!
I had a suction cup type ball retriever. It worked well but was way to big for my putter sleeve! That was a whole new issue. But then a friend told me about the Nickel Putter Pickup and I immediately was intrigued. I just used it for the first time. Here are the Pros: it fits on the end of my putter as is the exact same size and is easy to attach just using a screw driver. It fits in the golf sleeve attached to my golf bag. It grips the ball out of the hole without having to bend over. It closes easy and opens with the click of a finger. Now the Cons: You have to remember which side to click it open and you have to remember which side folds down first. Honestly, I've only used it the once so I suspect after getting a little more acquainted with it it will no longer be a Con.Already, two of my golf friends have made the purchase and are as impressed as I am. Worth $20 if its saving your back!!!!!

I am 74 and too hard to bend over. Does a great job of grabbing the ball. Pretty east to install on the end of the club. Great purchase,

Best ball pick up tool I've ever used
This doesn't interfere with using your clubs, folds down relatively flat and low, and is very light so it doesn't effect the feel of the club. Very easy to install (screw it to the hole in the end of the grip) and to use (flip it up, grab the ball, fold it down). I have been using this since I got it to replace the suction cup that was interfering with my putting quite a while and I use it all the time due to the back issues I 'enjoy'. It's never broken. Sometimes I accidentally open it when taking the putter out of the bag, I'm careful when putting the putter back in the bag. I have purchased several more as I was concerned I might snap off one of the fingers and am considering putting one on my chipping clubs for when I'm practicing (and when I get lucky). Highly recommend

Great thought but poor material used

Works great
I have a herniated disk in my back, so I try to minimize bend over while playing golf. About this device to help with that. Works really great. Well worth the money.
