Love this lamp. Has understated, yet attractive design. Easy to assemble, feels very solid and sturdy. I would recommend using an Edison-type, oversized bulb for best look. The “brightness” depends on wattage of bulb you choose to use.

Perfect if you don’t want to put holes on the wall to hang it. Because of the panel on the back, I was able to hang this with heavy duty Command picture hanging strips without any hiccups!

Indeed, as others have pointed out, the official product photos are inaccurate. The mounting plate connects to the wall base with silver screws, visible on the sides. The seller should be truthful and I normally don’t like to reward deceptive behavior, however, for the relative low price and desire to have this type of design, I compromised and simply painted the exposed silver areas black. Beyond that issue, I do think this is a good value. Similar fixtures at CB2 (and elsewhere) can cost at least 3x as much.

I was looking for a plug-in sconce with a rectangle base. I wanted a plug-in as the outlet I am using turns on with a light switch. I did not use included hardware to hang as I will not be touching this now that it is hung. I used a large picture hanger. This way I only have a nail hole and not two large holes for anchors. I currently am using a clear 40-watt LED light and it looks good. I may consider getting a decorative bulb in the future but this bulb is the right height so I can still lift up my dresser top. I purchased used condition and item looks great. Arm does not move smoothly but I have no need to change its position.

Ordered two of the sconces and they look great. My only problem is that one of them had the light switch on the wrong side and it faces the wall. Was able to fix this by using Velcro strips to keep it facing front, but left the cord twisted a bit. Keep in mind they don’t swivel easily so they’re pretty much stationary lights.

Super easy to install and DEFINITELY worth the price compared to more expensive brands and other wall sconcesI used a Phillips globe frosted bulb and it looks so good and cozy at night.The other reviews are accurate that you can see the silver screw but it can easily be painted with nail polish or spray paint and isn’t noticeableOther comments said that the mount leans forward slightly but as long as you properly and tighten screw in the screws with a drill, I had no issues

I had purchased this lamp before and wanted a matching lamp to make a set. installing this light was a breeze, due to it's genius design. I wish all light fixtures were so easy to install. works great, looks great.

Esta lámpara es bastante agradable a la vista, a pesar de su sencillez, su tamaño la vuelve un interesante objeto de diseño en el lugar en el que se coloque, además, por su simpleza, es muy fácil de combinar con diferentes estilos... en cuanto a la instalación, es muy conveniente que tenga la opción de conectarse por clavija al tomacorriente o instalar directamente al cableado eléctrico, lo que da libertad de colocar la lámpara prácticamente donde uno lo desee; sin embargo, la instalación al cableado eléctrico es un poco tediosa: 1) la placa trasera de la lámpara no tiene la variedad de perforaciones para adaptarse a las placas eléctricas convencionales, 2) su angosto diseño puede hacer que las placas eléctricas sobresalgan y sean visibles, 3) todo lo anterior orilla a hacer nuevas perforaciones en la pared para nuevas placas eléctricas que se adapten al tamaño de la lámpara, o a cubrir la parte visible de las placas eléctricas de alguna forma... y finalmente, en cuanto a calidad: 1) la pintura de la lámpara es algo delicada y hay que tener cuidado cuando se manipule durante su instalación ya que puede rayarse, 2) los cables con los que se conecta la lámpara a la instalación eléctrica podrían ser un poco más gruesos para evitar posibles contratiempos, pero nada de qué preocuparse y 3) los materiales de instalación sí se aprecian de baja calidad, durante la instalación se rompieron las cabezas de 2 tornillos, así que mejor utilizar otros.

Simple entrance light. Appreciated that I could plug into a electrical outlet that had its own wall switch. Could have used a longer cord.
