Q: What does B and D size stand for?

Both mean that the shoes are standard fit and medium width. B(M) is used for women's sizes and D(M) is used for men's sizes. For example, 7.5 B(M) is a women's 7.5, and 7.5 D(M) is a men's 7.5

Q: Are the shoes exactly as pictured? I do not want the back to read "converse all star" . Also i know some of the new styles have attached tongues.. i

Yes they are exactly as the picture's shows. I love them they are exactly what I wanted . And about the all stars on the back of the shoes it does have it, like every converse shoes.

Q: Is this in women's sizing or do I have to change the size according to men's sizing

It's been a little while since I ordered the shoes. I did look at the shoe and on the bottom it says a 5 1/2. I wear a 7 1/2 in women's. It does say women size on the tongue of the shoe. I'm assuming I ordered a man-size and adjusted for that! I hope that helps! I do love the shoes! Oh and if you have to exchange, Amazon is very good about helping you do that!

I'm a size 8 as well and purchased a women's size 8 (which I think is equivalent to a men's size 6) and they fit perfectly.
