Although this is not the American made model, it is exactly what I wanted. It is a robust unit and nicely manufactured. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made vice *by R***R on July 22, 2020* Got this vice to replace a smaller one in my garage workshop. When it arrived, I thought it would be too big & heavy but after installation it works well in the limited space I have. Don't fasten it to a flimsy or cheap homeowner's bench. It needs a solid, substantial work surface & heavy bolts to be safe. I took mine apart for cleaning and lubing with wheel bearing grease, which smoothed things out. Now it feels very precise and strong.
