We have 2 cats and they both like playing with this ball! I’m not sure whether it’s the red light they like chasing or the actual ball itself.It is powered by a built in battery and recharged via a USB cable. The battery lasts a couple of hours of spinning and flashing before it needs recharged. Recharging doesn’t take too long - perhaps around the same amount of time of use you get from it.The ball is made from a wipe clean plastic and is screwed together in to itself - simply unscrew it to access the charging port.The ball works really well on the hard wood flooring and freely moves around. We also have a thick pile rug, but the ball just spins on this and does not roll around like it does on the rug. Either way, the 2 cats seem to be kept mesmerised by it!

My cat initially was a tiny bit afraid of the moving ball (she is a scaredy cat) but after sniffing out she is fine with it and just loves watching it roll around. It doesn’t really get thats stuck in places and has a good battery life (plus its rechargeable). I put it on when my cat is bored however she rarely pounces on it :/ (my cat doesn’t do play that well) but its robust (it has rolled down the stairs before). Overall and OK cat toy.

So personally this ball was not worth it for me to buy. My cat has shown no interest whatsoever - however he is a rescue and is very very picky with his toys. So if your cat is picky then maybe this isn't for you. But if your cat is playful and likes to chase things you should definitely get it. It's sturdy, runs smoothly and is not too loud, if it gets into a corner it basically bumps itself out. So, for other kinds of cats it could be perfect.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this some months ago for my kitten (3 months then), and it was almost as big as him. He didn`t like it, was afraid, so I packed it back and forgot about it.3 months down the line, found it, and my kitten has been mad about it ever since. So if you buy, give it to your cat when he`s at least 6 months old, in my opinion.Unless it gets stuck, it roams through 5 rooms in 7 minutes. It`s just great fun. He Hunts it, stalks it, fights with it.I spoil my cat with many toys, and this is the best when you try to get ready in the morning, cook, etc.

Convenient to use as a short temporary distraction for a cat but not as a replacement for play time as it's not very satisfying for cats to play with due to the hard plastic material. I've noticed he becomes more aggressive or just hides after I leave the ball on for around two hours when I'm not in the house because he gets frustrated from not being able to "catch" the ball and bite down on it. So I try to use it as rarely as I can - but overall it's good to have just in case, especially if youre busy and have a very playful cat that gets easily bored.

Do not buy this product. It does not work. Or, works for 15mins and then not. You will waste your time. Any promo videos you watch, you see a cat racing after the fast-moving ball. Our ball moved at a glacial pace, a geriatric could've kept up. It moved very slowly despite it being fully charged as instructed. The sensor, telling the ball that it had struck a wall or other obstacle, is not sophisticated enough. The ends up stuck in a corner or in between furniture, bouncing back and forth between obstacles. The cat would've loved it but with this poor performance - it was a waste. This has now been sent back for refund.

The problem with this is that is is too big it's about the size of a cricket ball, and my cat just watches it roll around as she is a bit affraid of it.The plastic case is too thin and cracks easily not as robust as I thought it was.I can't comment on battery life as I said my cat is affraid of it so I only charged it once from new and she hasn't played with it since, and because I have to give it a rating that's why I have only give it one star for battery life.

My cats don't play with this...but they do enjoy watching it.Its a bit on the heavy side I think ,for them to chase around.Better on a smooth floor rather than carpet.

El gato está muy entretenido con la pelota, es un buen juguete. Y la batería aguanta muy bien. Pero no se apaga a los 15 minutos como dice la descripción. No tiene auto-apagado.

Pour mes chats la balle est solide en plastique brille avec sa led mais pour moi ne va pas assez vite! Sinon elle est sympa se ballade partout dans la maison et quand elle s'arrete j'ai du mal a la retrouvé du coup.Sinon ça va !

Assez sympa, mais une fois chargé ne dure pas très longtemps.s'essouffle au bout de 10 minutes.
