Graco Admiral 65 Convertible Car Seat, Studio

I originally bought 2 safety first convertible seats, they were nearly impossible to install correctly and safely on either my wife's bench seat or my captains chair. The strap on the safety first simply could not be pulled tight enough I spent almost an hour trying different ways to tighten it - I instead bought this Graco version and not only does it feel better made I was able to install it and apply the correct amount of tension in under 5 minutes. Save yourself some time and keep you kid safe - this is easy to install to the correct tightness without any hassle and easily beats out other brands.

I got this as a spare vehicle/grandparent vehicle seat for my almost 2 y.o. I was shocked that with the one recline mode just with the flip of that piece between rear and forward facing that it fit in various vehicles properly and easily. My son was RF in various vehicles during a 3 week trip and this carseat was easy to move around, get reinstalled, and he loved it! He seemed to like something about it more than his 3 in 1 and 4 in 1 dlx, maybe the less padding so he had more space. A great option, especially for a lighter travel seat

We have used this car seat for a few months now, it was easy to install in both our cars, using the anchors. We moved our toddler out of his infant car seat into this and it was an easy transition. We are continuing to use a rear facing until he is above 40 lb, and he has plenty of legroom. It is not the most cushiony car seat but seems very sturdy when installed properly.

Bought this car seat for our backup vehicle. Wanted a car seat that was safe but less expensive since my daughter isn’t in this car seat for extended periods of time. She likes it. It’s easy to clean and there is plenty of room left in the backseat of our Toyota Camry, as well as the front passenger seat. Love that it’s gender neutral as well. My only complaint would be that the seat belt harness does not have shoulder pads to prevent the straps from possibly rubbing her neck. However, this has not been an issue so far. I would definitely recommend this seat!

So far this car seat is great! It was simple to install and my son seems comfortable. It has a good amount of padding unlike some of Gracos other carseats that can be quite hard. The cupholder is at a great angle, my 13 month old can easily reach his sippy cup and is able to put it back. I was afraid it would be too large to fit in my tiny 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage but it surprised me and fits well behind the passenger seat.

This car seat is very heavy duty, seems comfortable and well made except for the button to loosen the straps. When the car seat is in rear facing position there is no room to get your hand in and push the button to release the tension! Very, very frustrating.

A more basic Graco seat missing a few conveniences, but a good seat and a great value on sale. Pretty easy to install if you’re well versed in doing so, just wish the anchors were the seatbelt style with a button to release the seat without having to loosen the strap instead of the hook style that has to be loosened first (pretty difficult to loosen). Also wish it had strap pads, but very cheap purchase to get a set so that wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise very happy with the seat and love the adjustable headrest/strap feature.

When the time was right to transition the baby from rear-facing to front-facing, I chose the Graco Admiral 65. For me, quality was at the top of my list. Next was comfort and ease of use. We got everything required along with an affordable price. From someone who uses this carseat every day, I highly recommend it!
