The arms are fitted, but that is flattering on this dress for me, although those with larger arms might not be comfortable. The colors are very nice, the fabric is thick enough that it might be possible to wear without a slip, although for work I will wear one for modesty purposes. The dress is well above the knee for me (34"inseam), but not too short for business casual, and I will be able to wear thigh-high hose comfortably. I believe it will pack and wear well (seems wrinkle resistant) which is why I purchased it. Good value for the money, I am pleased with this dress. (Yes, the wrap belt is a little strange at first, but I tie it on the side where the wrap seam is, and that looks good. Material is extremely light and cheap but the dark purple is very forgiving towards it. It is truly just a pullover dress with some fabric on the side that you can use to tie for a faux wrap effect. The fabric would be comparable to something you would find it very cheap teenager stores inside the mall. This is perfectly fine for something like going on vacation but you would never be able to wear this at work. The cheapness of the quality is very obvious.I wear a size extra small or size 0 in gap in Ann Taylor. I sized TWO sizes up to size meduum and the fit was perfect.
