We have a lot of barn doors & used these for all of them. I don't like the ones that stick out from under or in front of the doors. These sit behind the doors & are always hidden in the groove.

I purchased a sliding door kit from Rockler which came with a floor mount guide. Not wanting to drill into the concrete floor of my basement, I found this stainless steel floor guide on Amazon and it has worked perfectly. Mounting it to the stud in the wall was simple and it slides quietly in the slot in the bottom of the door, keeping it aligned and not swinging out away from the doorway. Nice and simple, and does exactly what you would expect.

These guides worked exactly as intended. I put a small sliding barn door on an entertainment console/ built-in dog kennel, and these guides were used to guide and secure the door. Easy to install, seem pretty sturdy, and cheaper than the other options make these a pretty easy buy.

Good product, easy to install and looks good.Has a nice low profile, doesn’t stick out of the wall too far.Keeps the barn doors in-line when sliding the doors open and closed.

BUT, the door does not fit snugly (and shouldn't) so the guide mars the paint when the door slides. Some kind of soft "buffer" between the door and guide would be good

Perfect for my sliding doors. Keeps it from swinging back n forth. We had to cut the door to fit. And lost the track below. So these were perfect.

Quality is ok but it’s a little too small and smaller than stated. The width to fit a door inside the bracket is not going to work in a lot of cases. The stated width or 1 7/16 seems not quite right. Really any bracket like this should be easily 1.5 at least. Otherwise if your door is smaller or if you plan to use it for a routed grooved door then it’s fine.

My barn door has a groove in bottom but came with a plastic bottom guide that I did not want to put in the floor bc it's carpet. This screws easily into the baseboard and is adjustable so you can extend it out as far as you need to to reach the groove. You will have to lift the door off to install it bc it is hidden under the door one installed so you cant reach the installation spot while the door is hung. So, you will probably need two people just to lift the door off and then hang it back on after you install it but I am a medium build female and did all this myself in about 15 minutes.
