Excellent on certain areas of your skin that you need to hide for photo shoots, other facial secrets only you might know about on your body...go ahead and put the foundation, etc.on the wedge and in and/or spot on your body you need to guarantee secrecy...use the wedge, for many other secrets you might need to use body wise or otherwise .....

REVISION: I started using these with ink instead of paint - they work very well with ink and I am now pleased with this purchase. I purchased these to use with paint and ink for art projects. They are super soft, but do not hold up well and start to degrade after a short while. I think they would be fine for cosmetics, but for art I will look for another product. Unfortunately, I now have a rather large supply of a wedge that I can only use with certain kinds of materials. At least these were inexpensive. A good buy for use with cosmetics.

Another item that I can no longer find at my local supercenter so I was glad to find them available on Amazon. These makeup sponges are soft and that triangular shape works for me. I tried the only make up sponges I could find locally and they were very hard. They pulled the makeup off my face rather than spread it around. I don't get it.

Good quality sponge, would/have ordered again

Updated review 1/29/2020 After so many years of using these sponges i noticed my last order were completely different. The quality is poor, it does not blend in your skin like the originals and the texture is awful. I want my money back and I will be looking for a new company to buy these from. Either I got a bad badge or they changed manufacturing company delivering a cheap and poor quality. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've been using these wedges for a very long time now. I was basically forced to start using sponges due to skin acne. I tried different brands and options and this specific brand was perfect for me. I use them every day; even thought the package says you can wash them and re use them I don't do that because that defeats the purpose for the reason why I needed to start using sponges in the first place (no double dipping for a cleaner skin). About the sponges: They come in a big plastic bag; 6 individual packages each containing 32 wedges. Size - they are not the big size I would say they are small/standard at least 2" I usually use 2 sponges a day and use both sponge sides to apply foundation, concealer and finish powder. Overall I love the quality because you don't lose a lot of your product. The previews sponges I used in the past soak up all my product and by the time It touches my face there was hardly anything. That's why I loved this small sponges because they don't absorbed and eat your foundation. The price is excellent because I used to purchased them at Walmart which is normally cheaper and I used to pay about the same price of this 6 package but for only 1 bag. So you are getting a barging for this product and it will last a long time even using 2 a day. I am pleased with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sponge that is affordable and allows your foundation to still look nice.

I think it may be better than nothing to apply makeup. But the wedge is so small it was difficult to hold. I would prefer a larger wedge to apply Makeup.. unfortunately I bought a multi pack, which means I have enough to last me quite a while before replacing them I will not reorder these unless I can’t find anything else.

Great size and very happy with the quality.. some wedges fall apart or they’re flimsy.. these are extra l’âge and of great quality

I love these sponges for several reasons. First they are great for makeup application. Second, I also use them when I am blending pastels. I don't get the pastels all over my hands. BONUS - they are washable.
