Some time ago I got hold of a book called fat burning foods. Since then I have been fascinated by the idea. A few weeks ago I downloaded a copy of Neal Barnards 21 day weightloss kickstart. I wanted to find a way to eat that would allow me to adjust my weight slowly over time without a diet as such. The book was really good. Based on cutting out certain foods it does just that. I tried out a few of the recipes and between my partner and I we noticed that we immediately had more energy, were fuller longer and we were losing weight. On the back of that discovery we decided to take things a little more seriously and switch to eating that way all the time. We got hold of this book to compliment what we were now doing and to get the recipes it contains. That was about two months ago and we have both been slowly and steadily losing weight ever since. So far I've lost just under a stone.The thing to know about the recommendations in this book is that for some people they will be hard to switch to. If your diet is heavily meat oriented you will not have such an easy time of changing as I did. However, the book is full of real examples of what your food does to you and why you should consider changing the way you eat.The bottom line is this. Regardless of how bizarre it sounds when I say I have not cut down my food intake and I have still had the above experience.. it's true. Neal Barnard's advice has really worked for me (and my partner). What do you have to lose?

Book by Dr N Barnard
Nice little easy to read book. I really admire and respect Dr Neal Barnard. Service was great and book was in excellent condition, as stated on website. Very happy to recommend this seller to others.

Gift for someone else
This was for someone but based on my wife having a copy. Good advice for overweight who can't stop eating

Interesting read...
I wouldn't take much of this book too seriously. A lot of what he is saying makes sense, the rest seems very far fetched with no supporting evidence.

Just okay.
Not a good book as it simply suggests to become a vegetarian! Obviously vegetarians lose weight!!!
