Don't be blinded by the--very--shiny stainless steel! It's pretty, but not practical, and won't last long
I used to think Landmann produced quality grills, but this one has surely disappointed me. I would suggest you do not get lured in by the stylish stainless steel look, 'cause it's not gonna' last! The end pieces on the hood are molded aluminum, but the rest is a very thin, lower grade, stainless steel. Sure it will last longer than "more common metals". (Wow, that's written in the product description. What exactly does that tell us? Not much!) I don't expect this grill to be good for more than two seasons, and it won't be pretty after even a few months' use. The metal is so thin that it dings, scratches and dents easily. My grill came with five dents. (What should a customer do? Pack it up and send it back? Do you have enough energy to deal with the hassle? Even with Amazon's great return policy?) For the safety-conscious: The thin edges are not finished off and sharper than some of my kitchen knives. Where the steel is welded, the welds were buffed and destroyed the look of the brushed steel finish. Oh, and the finish attracts fingerprints like crazy. The burners heat very quickly, but because the hood material is so thin, the grill does not retain heat very well. But the burners can be lit individually, and they run from front to back (not side-to-side). Note: To turn on the side burner, you need to turn off all the grill burners. Once the side burner is lit, you can turn the grill burners back on. For me, that is very inconvenient, because I never use a side burner from the get-go, and I surely don't want the side burner on and unattended while I preheat the grill burners.Somewhere down in the descriptive info, it says that the side shelves fold down. No. They definitely do not fold down. The two stainless steel grill plates are well-made. And the door fits well and the magnetic hold is effective. The wheels roll easily, and two have a locking mechanism. As far as set-up: You better look the pieces over before you start to assemble, and try to keep the box intact if you can: Even though there was no visible shipping damage, it does weigh 100 pounds and is protected on the inside by very thin sheets of Styrofoam that disintegrates easily. We found four dents, so who knows what you will find. And, regarding the Styrofoam, there will be hundreds of tiny white balls of the stuff in every nook and cranny. They don't come off easily and we finally got the air compressor out to try to blow them all off. You surely do not want to heat the grill up with any of those pieces in the fire box. They will melt to the steel.....It is not hard to put together, but it did take a few hours. Instructions are decent (although both instructions and actual contents were short two bolts--we used our own to finish the job). Bolt-to-embedded nut fit-up was very good. You need a Philips head screw driver, ideally with a magnetic head, and a ratcheted one helps quite a bit.I like the big knobs--one for each burner--because they are easy to grip. But I do not like that they have quite a bit of play in them.If you are going to use your grill just a few times during the summer, maybe for holiday parties and on a few weekends when company comes over, and if you want something pretty and impressive for one season, sure, take a chance on this grill. It will get your burgers, steaks and hot dogs cooked. But if you are looking to get serious about gas grilling, and want your new grill to satisfy you for several years. I suggest you consider the way-more sturdy and practical Weber gas grills. And if you are on a tighter budget, I recently found a new grill on the market: Cadac, a line from South Africa. We have the Cadac Stratos 3, and are really happy with it. (We also use two sizes of Weber Genesis grills, a Weber kettle grill, and a Charbroil infrared grill--and a wood charcoal burning smoker from New Braunfels.)And just a note about Weber: Our Weber grills have been with us for over a decade. Every once in a while we need to buy new burners, grates and an igniter, but the shell stays in great shape. And my Weber grill before that lasted for 15 years and made it through a few hurricanes, too. (It actually rolled down a hillside in one storm and survived intact. So that's where my experience comes from. The Cadac I recently received is a great grill for the price, and I'm enthralled with it at the moment, but I know that it won't be as long-lasting as the Weber. But I fully understand that not all people can afford to buy a Weber in this size category.Happy grilling folks! It is one of my favorite past times, and if you have any questions, give me a holler in the Comment Section below, I do keep my eye on them.

Works great, but delivered damaged.
I love this grill for a few reasons .The flame is spot on. Look at the picture here. It's NOT higher or lower in different areas, so it grills even. perfect no matter what and where your grilling on the grill.I did not find that the grill lost any tempature from the hood as another reviewer mentioned. It heated up quickly, & kept it's heat .Although if you lift the lid to check your food inside of course you will lose heat, just like your oven will, when you open the door.My older 4 burner BBQ has never grilled as even as this one does, but it is wider. This one is deeper, which gives me more space for using the rack on the top for potatoes , large veggies , warming up bread etc. that I don't want to burn. Having 3 burners but same Sq.In.you use less propane .The temp gage seems to work right on also. The rollers at the bottom roll smooth and even. The two lock in the back. Now for the Con:My grill came delivered damaged ! The hood has a Big large dent down the middle,( amazed the temp gage still works so good) and the left side got a hit also on the side body panel .The right side burner will not light, but just makes that clicking noise. I have never used my side burner , as my other grill the burner didn't work good, but I would have liked this burner to work.Even though the hood has the long dent in it, I can still put a whole chicken standing straight up on a special rack in this. That said, the outer box was Not damaged, so I'm guessing the damage is from the company it self, and not who delivered Ii. This might of been dropped off a fork lift, or something Very heavy was dropped on this also!!!This Company needs more quality control of there warehouse.Because of the damage it took my husband 6 Hours sitting in the garage to put this together, as a Allot of the screws did not match up.So Yes this part was a nightmare..Glad I went out for the day so I didn't hear my husband yelling...although he had a right too. Poor guy. Also there where 3 screws left over!I gave this 4 stars cause of the great burners, and this is a good looking BBQ,that does seem sturdy . Or maybe this is a 3 star because of the damage, but all the parts where there.didn't want to down grade this great BBQ.

Quality burners and design.
This BBQ beats the other brands in the same price range and it's not just the higher quality stainless steel, it's the design. Looking at the other BBQ's in this class you'll notice the little cheaper "char broil and most others", if you dig into them you'll notice the cheap quality burner that sets on a small metal tab in the back with a small cotter pin to hold it down. After time these tabs rust so when you go to replace the burner, the tab where you rest the burner in the back of the firebox will crumble leaving you with no burner mount. All the Weber's I looked at didn't have this design flaw, but for the price 400 series thin stainless steel burners is a big turn off. That's where they did right here, QUALITY stainless, and the burners rest on the back of the firebox. I spent many hours studying BBQ's and although tonight I can't tell you how great it cooks (i'll be back) I can tell you it's hard to find one built like this
