I have had the battery installed a very short time now and it has only had 9 cycles on it. Already it has dropped from the 7200 to 6872... It had a big drop of more than 100 after the first cycle. At the current rate of drops I will be lucky if it lasts 6 months, and most likely it will be at 80% of original capacity in 2 months if I'm lucky. I knew good batteries for macs were difficult to find... And this one isn't a good one. Keep searching, there has to be a company somewhere that knows how to make them properly.Update: The computer has now had a total of 18 cycles and the amp has dropped to a max if 6641... So it went from 7200 to 6872 after 9 cycles, a drop of 328... now after an additional 9 cycles it has dropped an additional 231. While the amount of decline has slowed some it is still falling way to fast. Don't buy this battery find another one, when this one dies I know I will be looking for a different one from this one it just doesn't last as it should.

Seller was prompt with delivery (it came a day early). It was well packed and had all the necessary tools for installation. Installation was easy and quick. The battery charged quickly and seems to be working fine. It replaces one I bought just a month ago from another supplier and that one made my MacBook shut down/go to sleep mode for no apparent reason. This one isn't doing that to my MacBook so I'm now a happy camper. Don't really know much about battery life or longevity yet, but I'm optimistic it'll be better that the one it replaced.

Really well packaged. Came with a set of screwdrivers (so no extra tools required). One thing that I've noticed from the third-party battery vendors for the 13" and 15" MacBook Pros is an apparent difficulty in getting the three holes for the trilobe screws perfectly aligned so, in many cases, only one or two screws may actually be used. That was true in this case but, frankly, as long as even one screw may be attached, the battery isn't going anywhere and won't rattle about inside the Mac. What's more important is whether the battery's shape will slip under the screw holes for the bottom cover and this battery doesn't disappoint. I can't comment on the longevity or battery life yet as I installed it last night and it did charge up. A nice spiff is the included silicone keyboard cover which is thin enough to see through and sits properly on the keys providing some protection against shmutz and a bit of liquid (but you're keeping liquids away from your Mac, right?).So, bottom line: As long as one screw hole aligns properly and it works well, I can't complain. Thanks for keeping the Mac running for another five years.

Ordered this replacement battery for my husband's computer because his original battery went bad and began lifting the trackpad on the laptop. *Make sure the computers power is off when changing the battery* I unscrewed the bottom panel of the laptop with the screw driver included in this kit which was super handy that they included it. Then I unscrewed the screws holding in the battery and unplugged the little cable that attaches the battery to the computer. The battery slides forward and then you pull up and it's out. Took out the new battery (great packaging, very protected) put in it the computer then connected the little cable to the computer and screwed in the screws holding the battery in place. Screwed the bottom cover of the laptop back down, flipped over the computer and turned it on. The computer came on immediately (the battery was somewhat charged, but I don't remember the percentage) and everything looked great. I plugged in the charger to make sure it'd charge and it did. It's holding a charge really well and everything looks great. I was able to just push the track pad back down from where the previous battery (originally from apple) had lifted it. Everything was great with this battery and would definitely recommend!

Very happy with the purchase of this replacement battery. It came with two (2) necessary screw drivers to open the bottom cover of my MacBook Pro laptop and also to remove and replace the faulty battery. These are special screwdrivers any ordinary Phillips screw drivers won’t be able to open it. Also as a bonus, they’ve included a keyboard film protector cover and corner feet cover Plugs for the laptop. I’m very impressed and I highly recommend this seller if u ever need a replacement battery. By the way, the quality of this battery is amazing. After a full charge, my laptop stays charge At 96% for about a week of sitting idle w/o being powered down. Really Good!!!

I installed this a couple of months ago and didn't really pay attention to performance of the battery life as i was mostly using it on a stand, connected to power. I had to replace the old one because it had swollen up and my touchpad keys weren't working. I recently started using it outside of the office and have to say the battery life sucks. For example, I opened up my laptop 30mins ago and the battery indicator showed 54% and it died 25mins later.Dec 15, 2020Opened up the laptop, reported 99%. 5mins later it shutdown dead.

I purchased another battery from a different vendor recently and it was defective. I decided to purchase this battery instead of fighting with the vendor of the bad battery. Battery arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised with a few extras that were added on. Battery came with keyboard cover and new rubber feet for my machine. I installed the battery, charged it and checked it with coconutBattery2. "Service Battery Soon" message was gone and battery shows 7378mah capacity.

Rejuvenated the longevity of my MacBook Pro. However, after the initial installation, my MBP was running sluggish with kernel_task taking a TON of CPU resources. After some brief research, I found this was due to the new battery and the SMC needing reset to sync. Laptop's been rock solid since then.
