These work pretty well for me, but they would work best on an unthreaded bar. My bar is threaded, so they aren't able to grip as well as they could.

These are perfect for my 1” bar. Very secure, and easy to lock/release.

Would only use in conjunction with the original dumbbell collars. Clamping power is not like a vice grip/

I have the 1 inch bar that has the threaded “clips” on the end and they took forEVER to thread on and off. The ones at Walmart that are the squeeze clamps didn’t fit. These fit! However...I will warn you ... they will slide off if you have a significant amount of weight on the bar and turn the bar vertically. So stick to stuff when the bar is horizontal (deadlift squats curls) (Not vertical hammer curls, overhead tricep press etc)

I can't even use these things on the smallest bar I have dumbbell, or barbell. I would have to forcefully slide these things down the bar with the might of a thousand suns to even get them around the bar. Complete and total waste avoid buying these find another brand for a similar price there's plenty.

I bought a 7ft barbell for my power cage, so needed some collars as I've only previously used spinlock onesThese are working really well so far! In fact, the speed of changing weight with these have made me decide that any future barbells I buy will be the smooth type. Would happily buy them again

Although these are a time saver and work well. One of the pins securing the unlocking lever keeps sliding out.In effect these were broken from new so the quality is not great.I have secured the pin with blu-tack now, but that is a hack job to fix something that should have worked properly from day one.

Don't really inspire confidence lifting weights above your head when the collets don't seem to fit so tight.They will move down the bar with 7.5kg weight resting on them and jiggled up and down vertically.So far no weights have fallen off and I am still using them - carefully - Quick change is a breeze now though.

They don't really fit well on my standard 1 inch barbell. They are well made and secure but even in the open position they are a nightmare to get on the bar. I can't close them without fear of breaking. So I've ended up using them as spacers. Not really their intended purpose. Once in place they're not moving because there's so much friction, despite not being able to close them. I have other similar clips that slide on and off easily, so I don't think it's the bar that's not standard. Disappointing since I had to wait a while for delivery even though it was supposed to be next day (big claims during covd times).

I have a 1' bar barbell lying around for months now but didn't have any clamps to go with it and decided to buy these. Not sure why there are a lot of negative reviews on this item but these clamps are very sturdy and they fit firmly. I have the confidence in lifting now without the fear of the clamps not being able to grip the weight. I also tried lifting with 15kg on each side of the bar (vertically) and it didn't move the slightest.Advice: I recommend future buyers to take their time measuring the width size of the bar.
