I found that the hot plate did not get hot enough to make a pan of water boil and the plate unit itself got very hot indeed and would burn you if you touched the white area. I returned mine.

Could you please tell me the wattage of this product? Thank you

Hi, Wattage is 1500W Many Thanks

My item has not arrived yet, has anyone else bought this

Check with Amazon. Look at your order it should say where it is.

What is the maximum temperature of this hot plate? (In Celsius)

Sorry I dont know the maximum temperature but it gets hot enough to cook most foods. The only problem I get is that it takes ages to boil water - for example if you are cooking boiled potatoes it's better to boil a kettle of boiling water first to put in the saucepan and then its fine. Hope that helps a bit.
