I bought it as a gift to myself because I’ve always wanted my own “fancy” tea set, but I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars. This set is absolutely gorgeous! I was expecting the cups and plates to be really thin and delicate but they are actually very sturdy and have some weight to them. The cups are nice and big too! I was stuck between pink and lavender but I’m glad I went with the lavender because it’s a beautiful almost gray-purple. Everything is gold rimmed and all the cups have a gold “royal” stamp, which I love. It just makes it feel extra fancy. The teapot itself is the perfect size for me and I love that it had a loose leaf strainer inside. This tea set is exactly what I wanted and the quality for the price is excellent.
