Not sure why. I got a bunch of urbes, coriums and resina. None of them disappointed me. They are all well-made and precise.This one is definitely a masterpiece. The pen is quite heavy so it's absolutely not a EDC pen. it comes with a beautiful presentation box, a certificate with the serial number of pen and the manual. The pen and the package give you a luxury feelings. I am so happy to have it as part of my collections.It writes buttery smooth, no scratch at all including reverse writing. The M nib writes a bit thick like between Medium and Broad, which is good for signature.Oh one more thing, I was confused if there's engraving (Louis XIV and J.S Staedtler) on the body end and the cap since you will not see that on the product picture (however, if you browse Japanese site, it does).
