Beautiful and Functional Display Cabinet
I recently purchased the CASTLECREEK 7-Drawer Collectorโs Cabinet, and I couldnโt be happier with it. The craftsmanship is excellent โ the oak wood finish looks rich and elegant, and the drawers slide smoothly without sticking. The build feels sturdy and well-made, not like the flimsy particleboard you sometimes get with storage furniture. Each drawer is felt-lined, which helps protect collectibles from scratches or damage. Using mine for a knife collection, but it would also be great for jewelry, arrowheads, medals, or other small items. The drawers are shallow but spacious โ perfect for displaying items flat and keeping them organized. The glass top is a nice touch, allowing me to showcase some of my favorite pieces without needing to open the drawers. It also gives the cabinet a high-end look that fits nicely in an office or study. Pros: Solid wood construction and attractive oak finish Smooth drawer action with soft felt lining Glass display top adds visibility and protection Compact but holds a surprising amount Cons: Drawers are a bit shallow for bulkier items Overall, this cabinet exceeded my expectations for the prIce. Itโs both practical and stylish โ highly recommended for any collector looking for a classy way to organize and display their treasures!

One serious piece of furniture
This is a great way to store your collectibles. You really can't tell from the Amazon photo, but this is a serious piece of furniture. it is not a flimsy item. I'd say that it probably weighs around 20 lbs. It is mostly solid wood. It was extremely well packed to protect it during shipping. it arrived in perfect condition. As you can kind of see from the Amazon photo, there are 7 long drawers; the bottom drawer is slightly deeper than the others. The drawers slide in and out easily and are completely removable. The front is at an angle, so each drawer is slightly larger than the one above it. I bought it to hold my pocket knives and it holds a lot of them. Most of my knives are EDC sized, 3.5" to 4". Placing the knives lengthwise, I have ample room for 3 rows of 4 knives in each drawer with space for a couple of small knives horizontally at the front. You could probably fit 5 knives across if you wanted. Even larger knives, like the Buck 110, will fit 4 across. I keep my pearl handles knives in the top drawer since they are visible thought the glass top. Generally, I'm not a fan of Sportsman's Guide stuff. I used to buy stuff from them but stopped several years ago. Initially, their price looks good, but after they hit you for "Shipping & handling" the final cost was a lot higher. Also, the quality of their items was only fair, considering that final cost. However, the price for this piece is excellent compared to the prices of similar display cabinets on Amazon, and shipping was free. The quality is excellent too. So, it was a great deal; definitely worth the price If there is a con, and it's only a tiny one, it is the brass drawer pulls. They are inset flush in the drawer front and designed to pivot out laterally. You push in on the left hand end and the right side of the handle swings out; you then use that to pull the drawer out. You can see that on the third drawer down from the top on the cabinet shown in the photo. When I received the cabinet, only 3 of the handles pivoted out; the other 4 were stuck. it wasn't a big deal, because as you can also see in the photo, there are spaces between the draw fronts which enable you to just grasp the front and pull the drawer out. However, with some very, very, very careful prying, I was able to get the stuck handles to swing out. Then, working the handle in and out freed it up. It looks like they may have been sprayed with some sort of protective coating and the excess 'glued" the handle in place. Although even now, I still tend to just grab the drawer front and pull the drawer out because it's simpler. I am extremely happy with this purchase, and if I can make some more room on my cluttered dresser top, I will purchase another one

Decent quality, for the price. Worth the money as compared to other products from China.
This knife storage and showcase, in my particular experience, is made much better than expected. Quality control was good, and the packaging was designed to withstand rough handling. All in all, not bad for a Chinese product. I was expecting much worse. If it gets damaged during shipment, it will be the fault of the shipper, not the manufacturer. A happy wife is a happy life, and the looks of this little cabinet made my wife smile. It is very nice looking and will fit into any decor, whether it's in a den, formal living room, or bedroom. The drawer pulls are designed to give the case a luxury look, but they do not lock the drawers in place. The pretty little handles have no latching mechanism in them. They simply pivot out, providing a place to grab onto in order to pull the drawer out. With that in mind, one must be careful not to tilt the case forward, as the drawers will slide open. Speaking of the drawers sliding open, that may not be too much of a worry since the case, empty, is relatively heavy, so it is not easily moved. Every drawer has a 1/4" open space between them at the front. As a result, the drawer's contents will not be totally protected from dust, especially the front of the drawer's contents, due to the way the front of the cabinet slopes in depth from 16 1/2" at the top to 21" at the base. I suspect these spaces between drawers were strictly for aesthetics. It is a nice design touch, even though it doesn't allow the contents to stay clean. The wood veneer and composite materials look nice, and the clear top is made of real glass. I will most likely give the entire case that is covered with wood veneer, a couple of coats of clear poly. This will protect it from minor damage. Whether you used a gloss, semi-gloss, or matte finish is personal. The original finish on this case's sides has a semi-gloss finish, and the drawer fronts have a matte finish, so I will probably use a semi-gloss on the entire cabinet. The top 6 drawers' interiors are slightly less than 1" deep, and the bottom drawer is 1 1/4" deep. The overall length of the drawers from front to back is progressively less from top to bottom, as the entire case is sloped from the top down at the front. The #1, top drawer's interior length is 14 5/8" and progressively increases to the #7, bottom drawer, which is a whopping 17 3/4" long, front to back. So, the bottom drawer is not only longer but is also deeper. It's great for those thicker items that don't fit in the other 6 drawers or can be used for storage of supplies related to your hobby materials, such as knife sheaths or sleeves, extra scales, etc..... The bottom of each drawer is a relatively thin composite material that is stapled to the drawer frame. Under normal conditions, the staples should hold, but if you have very heavy objects in those drawers, I would install additional staples or small nails. You may also want to use candle wax on the drawer sliders to make the drawers easier to open and also prevent wear on the bottom of the drawers. Overall, a nice surprise considering these are Chinese-made. I recommend this case, but remember, luck doesn't always play nice when it comes to Chinese quality control and shipper handling. In my situation, I was very lucky with both.

Great way to store knife collection
This is great if you want a way to organize your knife collection and still have easy access while letting it blend in! It holds way more than I ever imagined and I have had no issues at all with it! Open and close the drawers daily with no problems!

Very decent quality for an excellent price!
I purchased this after returning the nearly identical version from another vendor. This display case is far superior to the other. For the price it canโt be beat.
