These pads fit my bike perfectly and relatively easily. They seem to be well-made. I've ridden the bike about 65o miles since installing these pads, and there doesn't seem to be any significant wear. The A10.11 is an original equipment pad, Tektro informed me that the A10.11 is replaced by the E10-11 which is a Semi-metallic pad, the harder A10.11 was not available from "TEKTRO" for some reason, even though this is the original pad used on many bikes. See the pictures below the "TEKTRO" E10.11 and the "DISCOBRAKES" product, are Semi-metallic pads according to their manufactures.Micrometer measurements taken of the examples pictured show that "Tektro" pads are thicker, both the wear material and the steel backing plate are thicker, although the difference in negligible. For the price the DISCOBRAKES are fine, time will tell if they hold up to aggressive mountain bike use.
