She had a vtech camera that she outgrew and so I got her this one. She loves it. It is the perfect size to put in her jacket or small purse. I love that it is durable but has a more grownup look compared to her old one. My daughter accidently dropped it once but the camera was not affected. The ability to add sd cards is great too. She is using a 8gb card and it has room for about 4000 photos. The camera has built in stickers that she can add to her photos. The camera also comes with accessories that allow you to add to a bike to take action shots. We have not done this yet but look forward to trying this weekend. Review: I think for a younger kid this could be fun - I think for a younger kid this could be a fun toy for them. I know most kids now have a cell phone with a better camera than this. For parents out there that do not want there kids having a cell phone at such a young age but want them to be able to take photos and video this is a great camera for that. I know for me i think it could be a great vlog camera for youtubers on a budget. with the flippy camera i just love it. i will be using this as a vlog camera from my car since it has a standard camera mount on the bottom i can screw it on where my gear shifter is and then angle the camera to where it needs to be while i drive. I dont have to think about if im in shot since i can view the scene from the view finder.
