Q: Does anyone know how to get the darn strap off so I can wash it?.... it seems tightly placed along the neck, almost as if you aren’t supposed to take!

When I first received mine, I came to the conclusion that the plastic strap ring could probably be pulled off (with a lot of effort- certainly a chore if you have arthritis or struggle with hand strength or anything like that). However, I wasn’t convinced I could pull it off without permanently deforming the plastic ring that attaches the strap to the neck of the bottle. I also wasn’t confident it would be any easier to get back on. I rely on the strap heavily to secure my bottle, and I don’t want the strap to fail because I deformed the plastic strap ring when trying to remove the strap. So I just run mine through the dishwasher. After a lot of use, the strap can get just as dirty as the rest of the bottle, so I’m actually happy that the strap by default gets washed with the rest of the bottle. When running it through the dishwasher, I just make sure to wrap the strap around a prong in the dishwasher rack or another slender item like a fork in the silverware basket to keep the strap from falling through the openings in the bottom of the dishwasher rack. Works like a charm.

Q: Is this bottle leak proof?

No. Mine leaked every time it was knocked over, and it then started leaking from the seal where the top screws on. Not happy with this product.

Q: How long does it keep your drink cool?

Unfortunately, this bottle doesn't keep the drink cool for very long. I've tried filling it with ice but it just quickly melts and I'm left with warm water throughout the day.
