H81M-E MicroATX DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Motherboards

My biggest complaint with this board is the boot and bios times. The times aren't horrendous, but are noticeably slower than my gaming pc (which uses an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4) and my laptop (Samsung 3 series). I would expect them to be close or equal, considering they all have the same operating system, and all have SSDs. This is probably a function of the chip set, not the manufacturer. Other than that, this board is decent. The bios is very easy to use, the components feel solid, and everything has worked flawlessly.

Great board for the price. Using this for my Windows NAS with a Intel G3220t and two HGST 3TB in a mirror raid. Runs cool and seems very reliable so far. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish Asus would stop woth the gold color accents. Other boards arnt an option because I only use Asus boards. I've built many computer for all different types of work and Asus has always been the best in my experience.

Thanks to Amazon for refunding my money. After installation, this MB wouldn't boot. Bought a MB tester and all, but no luck. Thought maybe I'd something wrong?? But I replaced it with a "Gigabyte Intel H81 USB3.0 SATA 6Gbps D-Sub ATX Motherboard GA-H81-D3" and this MB works fine after software driver hassles.

Good product

I purchased this motherboard for my home media server. The installation was very easy and straightforward, no glitches out of the box and bios is straightforward. The quality of board is very good, not surprising since ASUS has always built great stuff.

This mobo wouldn't boot into windows, and the bios is very different. And after a while, my sata devices weren't showing up in the bios. I am clueless on what to do.

First off this is my first pc build so some of you might not have these issues, first of all there is no usb 3.0 plugin for the front panel so be warned of that. I also had issues putting the Ram in took farm more force then i expected. When I built this I had the genius idea of putting this in an atx case, the mouting screws were fine but the main issue i had was the IO shield. had prongs on it not sure the purpose but it kept repeating to push the board out of position. Other than those issues I had it has worked pretty well since then and the Bios is really nice

ASUSのH81安いほうのマザーボード。 安くても安定起動、品質のばらつきも少なく安心して組めます。 しいて言えばUSB3.0のピンヘッダー端子が付いていないこと、 ＊この値段帯だと少し出せばAsrock先生がありますがあれはあれで。。。 USB3.0のピンヘッダーがいらない、スリムケースにそれなりの構成で組み方にはオススメです

Aunque es una tarjeta de gama baja, no deja de ser una buena opción para quien requiere una pc a buen precio. Cumple su objetivo perfectamente, tiene capacidad para cualquier procesador Intel 4generacion y tarjeta grafica. Aunque tiene pocas ranuras para memoria ram y puertos sata, no es inconveniente si requieres algo sencillo. La calidad de Asus habla por si sola. Recomendada

2013年に購入したエントリースペックのD社製デスクトップの拡張性がほとんどゼロだったのですが、cpuはまあまあの性能で（第4世代core i5 4460s）、捨てるにはもったいなかったので、MBとケース、電源を取り替えて、使うことにしました。特に問題なかったですが、いくつか気になったことは、 ・m.2ソケットはないので、m.2 ssdは使えない。最近のMBにはほとんど付いています。 ・全面パネルのusb 3.0に対応した端子がない。PCIe x1があるので、pcie-usb3.0のアダプターを購入しました。 ・hdmiはついていない。dvi-dとd-subのみ。PCIe 2.0の格安のグラボを購入し、dvi-dとhdmiで繋いでいます。 • メモリがddr3で、max 16gb ・PCIeが2.0で3.0でありません。ので、PCIe 3.0対応のグラボを買っても、性能は発揮できません。 とエントリースペックです。PCIeが、x1が２つ、x16が１つあるので、sata3とか、usb3.0とか、無線wifiとか、多少性能をスペックアップできると思います。 良かった点は、第4世代のcore i5 4460sをすぐに認識してくれました。 メモリはddr3仕様ですが、ddr3Lでも認識しました。cpuはddr3Lに対応してますが、マザボはddr3のみの対応なのですが、替えた方がいいのかな。
