I must say overall I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with this tire carrier. I was able to get it installed in about 2-3 hours by myself with only the tools I had in my garage. It takes a total of 5 nuts and bolts for each side to mount it onto the Jeep. There are no instructions and I would recommend laying all the bolts out in groups to keep organized. After organizing all the pieces I would mount the bumper without the tire carrier first. It takes a total of 5 bolts for each side. Before tightening everything down make sure all the holes line up and then tighten. After the lower rear bumper is installed, attach the tire carrier on the top. I used a little spray silicone to help her swing, not necessary but helpful. The shortest single bolt goes with the back circle to attach the swing arm. The two longest bolts in the box go with the silver latch for the carrier (picture with the two fingers). I'm really impressed with the ability to attach extra wheeling gear to this carrier. There is room for two gas cans or other gear. Cool bonus!
