The guitar came into my possession with high tension strings. Last month, I installed the Hannaback 728 lot tension strings as an experiment to see how the geometry of the instrument changed. The action is lower, almost acceptable. I didn't expect much from the tone department, but these strings sound as good as any strings I've had on this instrument. The guitar is fun to play, so I decided to leave these strings on the instrument to see how they wear. The only downside is that the tuning stability over time these strings takes a couple of weeks to become stable enough to not require re-tuning during a half-hour practice session. There are no issues with workmanship or uniformity; exactly the sort of performance you would expect from a high end German-made string.
