Not as advertised
I use these and am a great fan of them. Like others mentioned, you ONLY RECEIVE 50 NOT 100 as advertised. But it took me 4 years to go through my last box. 5 wire 2 mile, cattle and horses.Leave about 2.5" on both sides of the wire being repaired, crimp this in the middle. Fold the remaining wire back over to provide better resistance in slipping off. Helpful use if you already didn't know.Change the description and you'd get 5 star.

Excellent value for the money. Saves time a golden rod structure helps.
Ease-of-use helps tighten barbed wire with a stretcher. You need to buy the crimper separately. Overtime pays for itself.

They work perfectly
These work well on smooth wire fencing

Great idea, method
Great for installing or tightening barbed wire fences with less time spent wrapping with pliers, though a quick wrap should be done. Use with recommended crimp and cut tool or a heavy duty crimper, not an electricians crimper. Would probably crimp with large or strong pliers

For all your fence-splicing needs... :)
Shipped fast! Anybody looking to fix a fence (barbed or smooth or even electric) should give this brand of splice a try. We did, and we seriously don't use any other kind of splice. Our local co-op was out of these, so we had to order from here, and I'd buy from this seller again. Shipped quickly and was in our hands just in time for fence fixing :).

It works loke a champ. I saw someone complained about the paint job....i aint shining this thing up for show.
This thing is the cats pajamas! How many years ive spliced wire by making a loop on 1 wire and sliding the other end through the loop and pulled tight as i can. Of course since it was a broken wire, i had to put a small section in to bridge the gap. Heaven forbid its old rusty wire, then you do a big loop so it doesnt break. You guys know what i'm talking about. This thing clamps on the two ends and you start cranking once you get it banjo string tight, slide the metal coupler over, crimp, back off the tension and unclamp. You get a tight, neat wire no matter if its old rusted wire.
