Merrell Women's Encore Q2 Slide LTR Climbing Shoe

I have been wearing merrell encore for more than 10yrs, for work as well as an everyday shoe outside of work......always loved them, so lightweight and comfortable......perfect shoe for long hours on the job.......obviously the quality has changed.....this shoe fit better than the last pair I got. but the quality was just not there.....seemed to have very little support and after a few hours at work, I was having pain right below the ball of my foot, all the way across....both feet....very disappointed because I have no idea what I will replace them with.....for companies like merrell and keen, you have loyal customers that keep coming back.....why sacrifice the quality we have come to expect.....

Merrell what the heck did you do with your fit? I have 5 pairs of Encores over the last 10 years and wear nothing else. Now they don't fit well. I'm really in a jam, because these were the only shoe I could wear. I'm keeping a pair to see if they will stretch to fit the ball of my foot, but I'm pretty unhappy. Why did you ruin a good thing?

Merrell quality has gone down hill in a big way. Used to be my go to shoe for working (I am a nurse and on my feet all day). This shoe had little support, and as I walked around to see how they fit I rolled my ankle over. No support or sturdiness to this newer model.

Lobe the look and the support of these shoes. The only disappointment I have so far is that, for the amount of money spent, I would have not thought that the shoe liners would come out in less than a week.

Just got them today. See title. True to size. 8th pair of Merrells. Not all are created equal. These seem to be in the category of the Good Kind. No forefoot squishing. No elevated heel to imbalance the pressure on the feet. Got them for work-no laces to touch during the covid pandemic. (Huge fan of their waterproof/casual boots which are super comfortable and pretty-garnering compliments every fall/winter.) Have run into other folks who wear Merrells at work and it's like the Secret Club of people who wear Awesomely-Comfortable-Shoes.update-wore to work. Agree w prior reveiwer: they are not super pretty. They're neutral looking. But more importantly: they are not hot or sweaty. They did not cause stinky feet. They remained comfortable all day. They do not have an elevated platform and were very stable. No ankle turning events. None of the cons of other clogs/slip ons. And all of the comfort expected of a good pair of Merrells. Still 5 stars for comfort, quality and functionality.update-8 months later-this is a solid workhorse of a shoe!! Super comfortable. My feet are great at the end of even a 16 hour work day in these. More comfortable than running shoe. No sqeaking. No stinky feet. And no laces to touch after working with covid. This is still a 5 star Quality and 5 star Comfort Merrell shoe!!!!

I have a walking disability and injury to my foot, and these are the only shoes I can wear. I buy them over and over. A pair lasts me about a year. Well worth the money. I also have very wide feet and these come in a extra wide width option which has been a godsend. These are great if you work on your feet. Super comfortable and good cushioning . Also love that they are easy on and off. You can't go wrong with Merrell's!

I love these!! I have wide feet and it's next to impossible to find footwear in wide widths. I ordered my "real" size and they fit perfectly!!My feet stay warm and dry and the material is holding up very well. Great quality product!Seem to have good support. I have to wear Birkenstock inserts or I have foot pain. I have not put inserts in these and my feet have been fine!My last pair of slip on boots were from Land's End. They were all of these things. I have had them for years and one of our puppies partially destroyed the upper rim of one a year ago. I have continued to wear them because they are so convenient, and because LE does nor make then anymore. I was THRILLED to find these, made by Merrell, but very skeptical. But, they are every bit as good as my LE ones if not better--definitely more attractive!Highly recommend!

I have been wearing Merrell shoes for many, many years. I had to replace my Merrell Encore Groove clogs because they are completely worn out. They don't sell that particular style any longer and after reading multiple reviews, I decided on these. I have a very narrow foot and this type of Merrell's are the only ones I have found that will stay on my foot without me accidentally stepping out of them. They are not tight...they are comfortable. The arch support feels good. I wear them almost everyday to work. I will get another color, as well. The only thing I don't especially care for is the two tone sole. I would prefer it to be one color, the dark brown only. However, it is ok and isn't a deal breaker.

My last pair of clogs were 100% comfortable right from the moment I first put them on. These new ones fit absolutely fine but I think I will be a bit careful about wearing them too long at one time until I'm sure they are "broke in"

Bought a pair of these almost twenty years ago while living in U.S so wanted a new pair. The new pair fulfilled all my expectations.
