Where did the toe box go!
I purchased my first pair of these in 2018. I wore them for two years, then got another pair for a trip to the AT in GA in 2020. I hike a lot, have worn them hiking in GA and FL and even Alaska. I was overdue for a new pair and purchased another pair same size 9.5. I was shocked that the toe box felt so tight. I am hoping that my foot has just grown or flattened out, so I have ordered a size 10 hoping that will do the trick. Will review those when I get them next week. I have future hikes coming up over the next couple months for a total of about 40 miles, sure hope the 10's work out... Not looking forward to searching for another brand. I tried the Moeb 3. I will go leave a review on those as well. (not a fan)

Yes!, yes to these shoes!
I hate shoes. They bind and rub my feet and keep me from feeling the earth beneath me. I hate socks too, but this is a review about shoes. That being said, I'm preparing to walk the Camino de Santiago pilgramage across Spain, and being barefoot isn't realistic. After reading recomendations and reviews. I decided to try these Merrell shoes. My feet are a bit wide and the arches are a bit high. Size 8 is right, but I often wear 8.5 to accommodate the fullness of my feet. I ordered 8.5. Right out of the box, these shoes were comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. My first walk in them was about 4 1/2 miles, and they were great! Fantastic! While my friends are excited about Hokas, I feel a thinner sole is healthier for feet, and while the Merrells are padded, they aren't overly thick, nor do they alter the way the foot rolls on the ground, like Hokas and other thick soled shoes. I highly recommend these Merrells.Update: I am back from Spain and I've put well over 250 miles on these shoes. They get a 10! I had to replace the insoles, but I used off the shelf insoles and they were just fine. I put them through the washing machine (never the dryer) and they look nearly new again. There is a little wear on one spot where the shoe bends, and the soles show a bit of wear, but I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these Siren Edge Q2 hiking shoes. They were a great choice for my needs, and I will surely get more use from this same pair.

I love Merrell shoes
I have had three surgeries on an ankle that I broke almost twenty years ago. It is beyond repair. My doctor suggested I get a good pair of shoes (another brand) and switch them every six months. I bought a pair and hated them. I had less pain in flip flops. My girlfriend suggested Merrell. She took me to a store to try them on. I was hooked. This is my fourth pair in six years and they are far less expensive than the other brand. The are so comfortable. The have many styles and colors to choose from. Green is my favorite color and so that is why I chose the Jungle. I do get the running shoe because it has more stability. I will buy Merrell as long as they keep making them.

Great Supportive Shoe
This was an incredible value. I purchased this shoe for a vacation of hiking mountain trails. While I would not say it was waterproof, it did keep my feet mostly dry while hiking sometimes muddy trails. Probably would have been better to use a waterproof spray as an extra measure. The material is largely mesh and makes them comfortable but not impermeable. As far as comfort, I had foot/ankle surgery less than a year ago so I needed a shoe that would be roomy enough for my orthotics. This shoe has an insole that is removable and therefore upon removing, could accommodated my orthotics well. There is also a wide toe box that allowed my toes ample wiggle room. The one area that I found uncomfortable was along the upper. There is an area where the laces and tongue come together that is a bit bunchy. Would be better if that extra material were not there. I did notice that at the end of the week and after nearly 100,000 steps, my feet felt pretty great. Pain that I had previously on my non-surgical foot was so much better. I didn’t expect that. These are very supportive shoes. The treading on the bottom is great for hiking various terrains and inclines.

Comfy and Fit Well
I purchased these shoes to use on a trip to Scotland this winter because I wanted a light, waterproof shoe rather than having to wear heavy, waterproof boots all the time. I've yet to be able to test out their waterproofing, but in terms of fit and comfort, these shoes are great.I purchased these shoes half a size up from what I normally wear (an 8 rather than a 7.5) because I expect to wear heavier socks with them. I was a bit nervous about purchasing Merrell shoes because every time I've ever tried on this brand in a store they are too narrow for my feet--I don't usually wear a wide, but Merrells always seem much narrower than other brands of shoes--but these shoes are plenty wide and quite comfortable.I'm very happy with my purchase thus far and excited to be able to wear these shoes on my trip!
