This works just as well as higher-priced ones, brews great coffee, and doesn't take long to get accustomed to using. After water boils, I let cool for 2 minutes, then slowly pour over the grounds until filter is full (don't fill filter more than 50% with grounds). I then slowly continue pouring as the water level goes down. It's smaller, but can easily yield 2-good-sized cups. Strong coffee, that still contains all of the essential oils that usually get soaked up by paper filters. Easy to clean, just hot water and a little dish soap. Like all pour-over coffee makers, you have to babysit it as opposed to a softbrew or drip machine where you just pour the water and walk away. But it's worth it, it's a fresh rich tasting cup. I grind my own beans kind of fine so that makes it take a little longer too, plus the fact that it's small. Overall I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5, maybe a little more for the look.
