Zojirushi products are high quality and this one is no exception. This carafe was able to hold freshly boiled water for about 12 hours in tea-making temperature, in 24 hours the water is still lukewarm. The glass core technology retains the water heat, unlike other carafes which are only made of steel and cannot retain the heat as long. My only issue is its appearance: this size only comes in one color and nothing else.
