Review: Ultra-light-weight violin bag with adequate padding - As an adult who only occasionally transports my violin, this violin bag provides adequate protection for my violin, and it only weighs somewhere around 16 ounces (454 grams) when empty. Although I ordered "Mocha" color, the bag delivered was labelled "Brown," a bit darker color than shown in the product photo, but I like the darker color anyway (see my photos for a fairly accurate rendition of the "Brown" color). Knocked off one star because the outside zippered pocket is too short to fit a typical fiddle instruction book (see photo), but (yeah, another "but") I've carried two books in the pocket and the books stayed put. What I really like is the bag is flexible enough so I can carry my fiddle with the substantially padded shoulder rest I use (see photo).
